Said it once during the game and I'll say it on here, the ref spent most of the match on his knees and was watching the wrong balls ... Blind farker!

The 2nd goal was very technical many referees would not have awarded it, never the less we were okay with 3 big injuries

Nah Balkanite, clearly passed back by Ceara. We didn't deserve 2-0.

Just one of those games. We had key players out but still made a fist of it. CCM are a very compact team.

Hard to break down. Don't throw bottles guys. The media will be onto it and it turns potential new fans off. I had about 5 fans next to me who stopped singing after te bottles were thrown. It also disrupted our momentum and allowed CCM to take a much needed drink break.

In saying that some security guards are shocking. One guy at the end letting fly at Wanderers fans just for waiting quiet outside the stadium saying "go home you guys ruin it or the RBB"

We were unlucky at several points during the game - I thought Sainsbury should have been red carded, we should have been awarded a penalty, we played with 10 men for a large part of the 2nd half - but nothing to worry about, it was still an encouraging performance. Mariners are evidently the team to beat, they were pretty good value for the win I thought.

I thought Trifiro was excellent before he was sent off, however what a silly way to go. Oddly for us, we lacked discipline at times as Trifiros stupidity for his second yellow showed. But my word he had some excellent touches during the game.

Polenz was absolutely immense - it's essential we keep throwing contracts at him, what a player! I think we missed his combination with Hersi at times, Appiah Kubi played well but doesn't have that spark and directness that Hersi gives us.

Its important to remember we were vastly understrength - missing Poljak, Beauchamp, D'Apuzzo, Kresinger (lol) etc

    Heads up!

So true, we cant give the media a chance to have a go at us, we are a new club and stilll developing, we cant turn potential fans off because of the actions of a silly few.

Cole was getting caught out too often, we needed D'Apuzzo at left back and maybe push cole forward

Everyone worked hard, you have to be happy with the amount of effort they put in

The silly few should know better. We even discussed this how many times after the MV game. Sh*ts me. Wake up you fu*cking knuckleheads.

I don't know what you guys think, but when all the bottles got thrown on the field I thought it was embarrassing for the club and the supporters.

Full credit to Ono and Bridge (I think it was them) who picked up all the bottles off the field. This should have never happened and is a bad look for us and the club.

That aside, I think our support tonight was great. Lots of people chanting and a lot of noise.

The team as a whole played quite well and were unlucky not to score on a few occasions. But hey, you can't win them all.

I felt sorry for Cole because he's always there to overlap but it's a bit brave sprinting down the wing when you've got 10 men. I know we were trying to equalize but he left us open so many times. But as you said, he worked incredibly hard and like the rest of the boys 120% effort so can't complain too much :D

It was embarrassing, we have been getting so much credit and positive feedback about how good and loud our support has been , then we do something silly like throw bottles, we want to have to best home end in the league, but stuff like this will only end up ruining our reputation.

'A silly few' is the wrong term. There were definitely more than a 'few' bottles thrown (at least 30+, and thats being generous) and it was not on.

Offside comes into play as soon as the ball is kicked no matter who it touches along the way, unless it was passed by one of our players then it was regulation offside. Then again there was an offside called from a throw in last week so I'm not sure if referres are up to date on their knowledge of rules. Also for a ball to be considered out the whole ball must be over the line not just half the ball. Either way these things didn't change the game so I'm not too fussed either way. I just hope that in the end the decisions work out evenly, we were robbed of a penalty in our first match against marinators and today as well, but I'm sure we'll get the rub of the green down the track. Sometime this year would be good lol
