    Same.  But different party.

Given the gig last home game, this one falling on work Xmas party, then my trip to South America in December and January, I have yet to visit our home grounds this year and only to put up with Spotless twice more! And ANZ 4 times, 2 of which will be derbies and kinda decent. Woohoo!

Battle of the basement! Double header, too, with the W-League on at 5.20pm.

I had hoped to attend both games (I’m also a Canberra United member), but like many the games overlap with the work Christmas party.

It will be interesting to see the final crowd figure.

I'm in because, well really I don't know why, but I'm in x3.

Unusually its one of those games for us, win and everyone expects you will win anyway but lose or draw and the wrist slitting brigade will be here harder than ever.

If you think they are bad here, pop across to Facebook !!

Would be nice if Ziegler didn't need a match or two to find his groove and just hit the ground running.

I can see Roly scoring in this but I still don't know how we'll go - Mariners are better than they get credit for, especially when Connor Pain is given space.

Why on earth would anyone pick going to a work xmas party over a wanderers game....any excuse to get out of a Christmas party does me, absolutely can't ******* stand them...

Riera just needs a goal however he can get it, smashed in to his face from point black range and bounces in to the net would do......

    Prob a draw.

    I'll be there. I'm addicted.

Work Xmas party is 20 dec. Last WSW trivia for the year is the same night. I have hesitantly agreed to go to the Xmas do. After all it is also  my retirement date. But the closer it gets the more I question my choice.

I'll be missing mine to go to the game! :yahoo:

To be clear the  :yahoo:is because I don't have to go to the Christmas gathering...not because of any innate excitement about the game.  <_<

Oh how times have changed. :(

My old man retired...it lasted 6 months and my mother threw him back out of the house as she couldn't stand him being home and told him to get back in to something so now works 3 days a week again.....

Anyhoo....not looking forward to the game but looking forward to there being a game if that makes sense lol It is a long old off season and I would rather have this shyte than no football at all...

I haven't been to one of ours in ages, but this is my last one before I finish up in two weeks, so it's the last chance to see some people that I actually like.

Plus I want to drink on the company dime one last time.

I got an offer of some work on Monday, with the first "project" mid January.

    • Whilst Milanovic has had some ugly patches, that kids is a footballer. Priestman, Sapsford, Badolato and Simmons will all get there. And dont forget how good tate was in long stretches before his ACL injury. Our current crop of kids is obliterating the NPL, they will come good. And guys like Hendrix could be a base for a long term stable squad. Also getting rid of Antonsson and getting Borello back to being a lone striker like last season will be a huge step forward. I strongly believe our issue right now is our ownership. Lederer has basically gotten every decision wrong since taking over club (someone for the love of god prove me wrong because I can't think of one). I dont think the answer is burning half the squad and starting again
    • Younis is the only one that looks like a decent player in our whole squad.
    • I was on a plane. Do I bother with the highlights? Sounds like the full thing was a bit of a bust.
