I saw a guy in a Cruz Azul jersey at the V8 Supercars on the weekend,

He didn't look very mexican to me, and his mate on the right was in an Italy jersey

Keep in mind that not all Western Sydney Wanderers fans look Croatian, haha.

this is general vision of a lot of us fans at momento

LO QUE MAS NOS CONVIENE EN ESTE MOMENTO ES PERDER CON LOS AUTRALIANOS Y DE UNA VEZ POR TODAS QUE CORRAN A TENA Y SUS PETARDOS.

Translate this es quote from our forum,

it is more convenient for cruz azul to lose to wsw and this way there is a clean up of players and more importante a new coach.

For us at the moment when no everything is goin to good domestic league the moral is down and we are forgeting about suport our players and coach in this tornament. Is like is sad because majority us fans have forgotten that to be in CWC we have won and become champions of our region.  :aggressive:

So we have a situation where one side doesn't want to win and the other doesn't want to play.  Shall be an interesting game,

5-0 win wsw to justify the pay rise ;) and make a point of it.

I would rather just lose with a respectable 2-0 score line against Cruz Azul. That way we don't have to endure having a world record set by Real Madrid against us. Can you imagine Cole, Golec and Topor Stanley against Real Madrid :( I could seriously see a 12-0 scoreline :( Maybe Covic would keep it down to 10.

Who cares? Nothing is expected of us against Madrid, I would just be stoked to be playing in that fixture.

And I really don't think it would be double figures, even if they did absolutely smash us teams tend to take it easy after about 5 in that situation.

The most disappointing thing is the almost zero coverage so far of the team over in Morocco. Would it be different had we not been embroiled in headaches about pay, I dunno. But it's almost treated as non event by local media.

This so true. When the League teams go over to play the laughable 'Club World Cup' it gets blanket coverage. The deeds of Saudi, which the MSM jumped all over are but a distant memory now as far as they are concerned. We knew that though right?. We were the 'feel good' story of the week but the game still has a long way to go to become the 'water cooler' topic of conversation in the same way as the other sports.

MMMMM if the captain is saying there is no resolution at the moment, we belief this means the team will stand behind the captain. So does tis mean wanderers maybe no play if this no fix up.

One thing i tink you club will hate is every body is calling u Sydney Wanderers! :unknw:

Any way this report is says our team beliefs wanderers has stregth in the air and cruz azul will focus more on airial strength as wanderers has height to their stregth against cruz azul. So physicaly we know your team will be hard to outplay.

Yes everyone calls us Sydney, it's equal parts :nono: and , we noticed this problem when we were playing Al Hilal in the ACL final. Everyone who hated Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia were wishing "Sydney" all the best, maybe "Western" in "Western Sydney Wanderers" doesn't translate well in Google translate

I think if your team has done there scouting and video review of games, they'll find that it is better for Crul Azul to not to use air to defeat WSW. Defensively we are strong in the air but in attack we couldn't score from a set piece even if you didn't have a goal keeper standing in goal!! With so much height in the team, it's hard to believe that we find it so hard to score from corners and free kicks!!

Apparently the players and club are close to a solution, but it has been a big distraction to the players and everyone involved in the club. Cruz Azul have a big advantage over WSW because the players have been distracted and there minds have not been on the football.

Someone was saying Cruz Azul were in a shitfight themselves and wanted to lose to get rid of a few players or the coach. We've got a team that wants to lose vs a team that doesn't want to play.

Grab you popcorn boys and girls, this will be a good one.

That's not the case, just the opinion of a fan (CruzAzulMamacita) who wants them to lose in order to fire everybody and have a rebuilding, the club itself is not in such shitfight (even tho I think they'll have a rebuilding anyways, but they won't fire the coach IMO).

Middlesbrough were once involved in a game like that, the defence were taking dodgy backhanders to throw games and the opposition had all kinds of issues...... .......................it ended Charlton Athletic 6 - 6 Middlesbrough :D  Neither side wanted to win that day and Brian Clough mentions it in his autobiography about how disgusted he was after the game. As you would be if you scored 4 goals and still didn't win lol

    edit

    Clough scored 3 that day

    22nd October 1960. Charlton Athletic 6 (4) (Werge, Edwards (3), Leary, Summers) Middlesbrough 6 (4) (Clough (3), Burbeck (2), McLean). The Valley. Att 10,064.

Charlton: Duff, Sewell, Townsend, Hinton, Tocknell, Lucas, Lawrie, Edwards, Leary, Werge, Summers.

Boro: Appleby, Bilcliff, McNeil, Harris, Thomson, Yeoman, Waldock, McLean, Clough, Peacock, Burbeck.

    Referee: G Pullin (Bristol).

Charltons final equalising goal came in the 89th minute by Johnny Summers.

Can't wait for this. If we win, I can imagine the past few weeks will be forgotten and hopefully confidence restored in the boys. Only to be crushed by Real Madrid and confidence lost. ****.

lol mate, if we get through to Real Madrid any defeat won't be crushing.... well not unless they win by a deflected own goal in the 96th minutes, or by a dodgy penna.

Any game against Real would be fantastic regardless of the result, it wouldn't be confidence destroying at all.
