Can’t wait, tough game first up. On paper at least they look decent.

On paper, so do we now.

I have far more hope than I did 2 weeks ago.

Now, if only I can get my pre-ordered merchandise delivered before Christmas day, so I can wear it to the game.

Hoping to be able to attend the game

    Expecting 0-4 loss

I would be absolutely gutted if we get beaten by that score line. That's a Gumby/Babbel era loss and it would mean we haven't gone anywhere but backwards. A loss like that would be the start of  #RobinsonOut for me. Having said that......

I think we may get up 2-1.

    Out.

I think it will be a draw.

Looking like the derby might be my first game of season...assuming crowd will be allowed.

We signed players too late so they're not match ready

We let Duke and Lopar go

We lost pre-season matches against Mariners, Adelaide and Wellington

I don't see how we can get anything out of this

    Yes we can.

In all but the last trial game we fielded more than half the team with the youngsters to assess them. And mostly, after multiple double training sessions as well adding extra time to games.

And Robinson is far more astute than to show his hand early.

Now he will working on Milicic tactics and the Bullsh1tters players strengths & Weaknesses most likely using a SWOT analysis.

And now he has the luxury of 1 game every week to use SWOT on our players.

Don't trust 5 at the back. Never will.

Top level football teams manage to win games and trophies with 4 at the back.

If you don't trust the defence enough with 4, then going to 5 just means your tactics aren't good enough or your recruitment isn't.

In, not gonna predict or expect anything because I don't want to be disappointed.

Excited for the season and some of the players coming in, as well as a few of the up and coming youth players.

Hope we beat the Bulls and have a raging RBB, show them what an actual football club is.

I think I'll go with Popa's words, approaching Game 1 of Season 1, and say I want our team to be competitive.

I know many here would say that's not good enough, but I want an exciting, well played game, where we don't find ourselves thinking, 'Oh no...not more of the same".

Basically, I want to feel optimistic and excited again. And I do feel a bit of both at this stage already.

I’ll be watching from Nelson Bay along with half of Western Sydney. They should’ve just played the game up there and it’d be a sellout.

Still trying to understand how anyone involved in the decision making thought this would be a good time to kick off the season...

I'm pretty sure contractually it was meant to start in 2020 and be completed before EOFY. That's the extent of it.

I expect our first couple of games to be a little underwhelming BUT I do expect that we will become a force to be reckoned building off the first few games

Big season coming , maybe not this Sunday though (hope I am wrong)

    I'm predicting a draw. 0-0 or 1-1.

Personally, I would love to see the Wanderers win against the Bulls. I feel the hype about the Spaniards (Susaeta and Benat) is a bit overboard. Yes, they are both great players. Susaeta stint at City was great and Benat made himself a vital player while at Bilbao so they'll make it or break it.

However, they both haven't had a trial match with the squad so hopefully they'll take time to adjust as the Wanderers had a trial match the other day with what is arguably going to be the starting XI against the Bulls (except add Ziegler and Muller into the squad).

I'm assuming the Bulls will play in 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation?
