So how do we lose this one? Own goal? Somebody cocking up at the back with a bad pass to the keeper?

    TAKING ALL BETS

Heavy winds blow a Covic goal-kick back over his head and into the net in injury time!

Heavy agricultural hoofed clearance by NTS hits the back of the head of a WSW player and deflects  straight In to the top corner of the net.

I'm leaning towards a clearance by NTS being deflected off a streaker and slotting into the top right hand corner.

Ok, NTS hoofs a clearance high, hits one of those big bastard fruit bat things that hang out near the parra river behind the stadium and the bat deflects it in to the goal, Fruit bats united 1 - 0 WSW.

We win 1-0 only for Crook (in charge of substitutions) to bring on two players and only take one off (maths not being his strong point). Result is overurned and City are awarded the game 3-0.

On the bright side with our lowest attendance ever that bastard who's been jinxing us all season might not be there

Isn't it fantastic that , despite the dark times we are experiencing, we can still share a sense of humour and a sense of fun together?

Well done to all who lightened the mood on here!!    :good:  :clapping:  :good:  :clapping:

I can imagine how the conversation went down.

FFA: So would you like your rescheduled game on the Wednesday before your Friday game, or on the Thursday before your Friday game?
WSW: They both sound pretty bad....
FFA: But if they were your only options?
    WSW: Thursday I guess...
FFA: Due to ACL, A-League games & rescheduled games from Club World Cup, WSW decided this was club's best option.

    Its an interesting one...

    Do we:

-Go for the win against City and play youth against Victory who are the 'harder' opposition.

    or

-Play youth against City and play a full strength team against Victory cause they are more of our rivals and its a bigger game etc

Youth against City for sure I reckon. And if any of them have a great game they can get in the squad for Victory.

You wanna see youth up against players like FBK and Berisha ?

They only just beat us last time and that's because even someone like me can see if you don't shut Finkler down you'll pay.

Perf shut him down fantastically the other night.

Only downside to that is we don't play the ***** in east sydney again...

Unless you're proposing a WWF style "run in" from the crowd? Would pay money to watch Bulut crack Janko with a steel chair.

    Right on half time too.

Janko is going down the tunnel to see Arnie and...

    BAM!

Bulut jumps from the crowd and hit Janko with a collapsible steel chair right in the tactics!! Fireworks and pyro technic show blazing, heavy rock band in the background and Frank Lowy with a microphone screaming hysteria "Did you just see that!!!???"

I think this also has to do with the stadium being unavailable for nearly two months due to the turf relaying at Parramatta. I don't think we had any choice in the matter & our options were severely limited.
    Community round!!!
It would mean we would have to play 2x community round this year which would breach the contract WSW have to play x amount of games per year at Parramatta.

They could have played this game on the 31st of March which is in between a game on the 28th and a game on the 3rd of April

Wouldn't that have been worse though?

Considering that 28th March's match is in Perth?

SYD <-> BRI is definitely a less tiring trip than SYD <-> PER.

2 days in between both games is better than one
