One of the best halves we've had this season was against roar, when we had both Fitzy and Kamau on the wings. Fitzy plays positively, and I am baffled why Sotirio has been above him in the pecking order.

The mind boggles doesn't it. Side note: if you're watching free to air they've put on John Wayne movie after the game. We could use that discipline.

Proud of our effort tonight,  we kept our heads, we pushed, fought hard.

    Tate russell, blooming awesome

    Zeigler and treejack, fantastic

Majok.......why? I have nothing personal against the lad, but faaark he is too fumbly. We can't afford to have him on the field

Tarek and Oriel go have a rest fellas, if only we had some cattle to replace them with.  The rest went pretty good and once again we get a dodgy call from the AR (by the same crook that let two of theirs go), we miss some easy chances, we don't hit the target and we hit the post. Majok reminds me of a baby giraffe. Can't be too unhappy with that effort, yes fellas a 2-1 loss and I am not unhappy that is the standard we have set at the moment.

Tate Russel wow I can't beleive we had that kind of player in the youth. Needs more game time to get exp he was gun. Majok frustrates me one moment he shows epic skill next there is an air swing

Yep....They can tell Llorente adios amigo....!

Waaay better performance than previous weeks. Unlucky not to get more out of that, and with better finishing would have had a bagful.

One thing that was irritating me, on two of victories subs, the ref held the game up until the sub was in position. one of these was on a corner they were defending and the linesman stood over the ball. the ref allowed play to restart after the sub ran into his spot. i have always thought the game can resume when the sub crosses the line, and that's why you don't make a sub when you are defending a corner. the linesman was the same bastard who pulled up majok...though i'm surprised he didn't flag a handball penalty in the first half. We've had worse decisions go against us.

No, the whole "don't make a sub when defending a corner" is a football "old wives tale" like "being 2-0 is the most dangerous score in football". The idea is that making a sub will cause your defence to forget their defensive assignments.

The ref decides when and where restarts happen.

When I jumped in the car this afternoon to head out to the game, one thing I did not expect to be saying after the game was "if only we took some of our chances, we would have won that game" (although, I would like a dollar for every time I have said that over the years, I could retire). That performance was miles better than last week and on a night with some more luck, we would have walked away with 1 or 3 points. Tate Russell was fantastic and a real breath of fresh air. Treejack was great again, but I think the guy should go home. It is clear that opposition teams are just going to kick him and the clowns with the whistles are not going to do much about it.

    Heartbreaking and frustrating that one

in some ways as hard as it is to say maybe losing 4 nil could have killed the season now we have some hope again?

tate was great but I remember we all were raving about O’Doherty after the one away derby game - not to say he hasn’t been sound but he is no sapreet Singh

hopefully Tate lights it up again and again

Ziegler was poor on both goals and is it just me or is snake turning into like probably the worst keeper in the league unless it’s coming at him he’s Saving little I’m no it’s harsh but the second goal he’s just **** standing there, it’s so close surely u can dive out for it perhaps?

Tate is one for the future, he isn't going to light up every game, but hopefully under Babbel's guidance he will flourish, the initial signs are positive. And yes Ziegler didn't have his best game.

It started in the warm up with Janjetovic, he carried on like a little bitch after getting in a collision with one of the players in a drill, went out the back and had a sook and carried on like a good sort.  Now while other keepers seem to have blinders against us (2 in the last 2) we seem to concede every chance against us.  He is in poor form wish there was somebody to put pressure on him.

Does Risdon even have a spot if Russell maintains this performance over the next month?

    Elrich is not HAL standard

It's usually up in the match centre for the game pretty quickly.
