My mate visiting from Sheffield felt at home here last time we played. Miserable wet cold drive and the come from behind Scott brace win warmed all. Both Active Groups came out in force and Lustica wasn't half bad. We obviously need to win but there's little enthusiasm in me after what felt like a Derby loss last week and a money hungry last Derby at anz in only a few weeks. If anything it's a shame Nicos has been so wasted / unsupported.

Some of the best halal snack packs in the Southern Hemisphere, maybe even the world or even the cosmos, can be found on the main drag of Campbelltown.

Anyone worked out if you can get the kids free ticket in active. I can use my membership barcode to get an active ticket but I don't seem to get the option to add free kids ticket. If I don't go via the members link I can get free kids ticket but not active. Why do they make it so difficult

Don't know if we'll make it to the full time whistle, but am keen on my son's 1st Wanderers game! :xnod:

(Just a shame they don't have 5pm games at Spotless).

Here's hoping for an exciting 1st half.

Scott to go one better, and score a hat-trick!

Actually, the next game against the Mariners will be at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon at Spotless.

Shhh... I only convinced my wife we had to go to this one, because it's the 'only' one at a family friendly time! ;)

And luckily she hasn't paid close attention to the WSW fridge magnet. :ninja:

Though honestly, the real shame is the waiting until Round 19 before a home game is on at 5pm.

That new Stadium of ours can't be built fast enough!

i am one of the most negative people in the universe but this feels like it will be a win

so we are headed for another draw

    No!!!!!!!!

Here's an extract from the Newcastle Herald

"The Jets will field a depleted attack against Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday with Morten Nordstrand (concussion) and Andrew Hoole (suspension) out and Wayne Brown (hip flexor) unlikely to play."

And if you the possibility of a Boogaard brain snap we have a chance so long as Duncan doesn't have a blinder.

For Duncan to have a blinder we need to actually get shots on target.

Current stat is 68 shots on target with 50% accuracy.

    Unfortunately, only 17 goals

    Can

Going to be a struggle. We'll be run around from Newcastle's front line of Hoole/Nabbout/Noordstrand

Hoole and Nordstrand are both out luckily

It's sad that there was at time when we feared no one home or away , now I'm watching next weeks opponents and hoping for suspensions and injuries .

Stick tight on Nabbout and don't allow Boogard space on corners and we'll be sweet.

Cornthwaite should shadow him on set pieces.

Well on suspensions for the roar against us, Corey Brown is out. Holman didn't play but Broich didn't travel to Wellington.

    You're not going today then?

For mine we must score first we can't be chasing the game. So for me Santa to start a get as many minutes out of him as we can.

We were 2-0 up at half-time last Newy game and cruising. Look how that turned out !!
