In. I can understand every one’s frustration and can’t really complain when people choose not to go, but for mine, fans are meant to be there to support the team. through the good and especially the bad

In definitely, maybe. I'm taking my knitting. The club has announced that there will be "Bible reading" classes held during the game and the "patchwork quilt" group will have exciting demonstrations of their skill throughout the game. The Club also announced that the "Junior flare ripping training session" will be cancelled for today only.

I'm led to believe that knitting is banned for the match, because the anarchists in the knit one pearl two brigade ripped flares in protest over the FFA allowing them only one knitting needle per knitter.

People deciding not to go isn't against the team or players. It's against the inept governing body that are doing everything in their power to ruin football in this country.

Despite all metrics being down this season they are still spewing rubbish that "everything is fine and we are in a great position"

    Absolute ineptness.

Knitting needles = weapon. I'm sure I've seen them used in a movie.

Probably out, not necessarily a protest but due to a bunch of family stuff it’s going to be really hard to Get to.. admittedly  given the lack of any atmosphere and likely dire football I’m not highly motivated

    Replying to @wswanderersfc

Good luck to the lads today, but I can't help feeling that the collective punishment of vocal, loyal & mostly well behaved fans, isn't a viable or long term solution. The venue is soulless enough, without disenfranchising many who contribute to the atmosphere at #WSW matches

Years of following Everton have conditioned you !!

With the RBB nowhere to be seen I hope the riot Squad lads in their natty jumpsuits are absolutely bored to tears. What with the 'boys in blue' and the self-important stadium security honchos looking to sniff and stamp out the first sign of trouble, enforcing the 'family friendly' atmosphere craved by the FFA, it should be a great self teaching for them in staying awake and finding someone to intimidate. Maybe if they are fortunate an unlucky sod will look at them at little too quizzically or sit in the wrong seat so they can enforce said family-friendly values, making no apologies for public safety into the bargain.

Mind you the huge contingent of travelling support coming Eastwards on the Supporter Scooter may give them a few headaches with their raucous behaviour.

100% hear you, and that’s the way it ought to be. But in 2 decades of following Villa all over UK and Europe, even when we were s*** (and my god we were s***) not one single time did I feel that the club didn’t want me there. It is impossible to escape the feeling at WSW that the club doesn’t want me there. Hence, out.

After a lot of going not going,. I'm at the ground ...i'm sure this will be the lowest crowd we had this season.

Pity it has come to this , yes I know the team is not doing well but it's all the external stuff that is sucking the life out of the comp.

Tried to enter stadium via the xpress no bags line. Full wanding and pat down. Gave the guy doing it a mouth full. Then get to the entry scan membership card , told you cant enter here with that u need a papet ticket ?????told to go to other queue. Did that - got "random" wand and pat down again.  Absolute joke...im middle aged ...posing no threat at all. Get in stadium walk past a bunch of riot cops leaning against the wall. At least one of them wearing a stab vest.

Family friendly and none threatening !!!!!!

    Spot on.

2 security personnel behind the goals looking after the empty active bays and another 5 or 6 on the concourse.

I spat the dummy at the gate when I had to empty my pockets before being scanned.

I feel like I would react badly if police tried to speak to me.

    Had a chat with Pablo.

Clisby starting - in place if Hammil. Cejudo in for Lustica. And as expected Keanu in for Roly.

Bench looks like Kearyn, Majok, Lustica, Sotirio?, one other- with one to miss out. No Santa.

This whole security scenario has gone beyond ridiculous.

Tbh, I'm ******* sick of it, and I'm not even there today.

The club need to seriously do something about this, otherwise that first game we return to our shiny new stadium, will be an embarrassment due to lack of numbers.

I called it in the 2nd post in this thread. Will be our lowest crowd of the season. And no matter how many Easter ******* eggs the club try and hide in the "family friendly" area, they are doing more damage to their own than what they believe. Pissing in the back pocket of the FFA is killing our club.

Just barely not because the Perth player touched the ball.

Bridge scores. Nearly stuffed it up. No VAR to stuff us.
