    It's the derby - it's popa - there won't be any surprises

Even the other mobs team has picked itself

    Vukovic

    Grant ryall wilkinson zullo

    Oneill brillante

    Holosko ninkovic brosque

    Bobo

Hate to say but that front four looks dangerous.

We haven't won in the last 7 derby games (Jan 2014 was the last). Hopefully Bulut will get the right support and Popa will get the tactics right. Another loss after the arse spanking we copped from City would be hard to take.

People talk about our imports taking 6- 8 weeks to fire , that's a fair part of the season and too long. Whenever I started a new job I was expected to hit the ground running. Other teams imports seem to always more ready to fire straight away where ours take more time , don't really know why.

i never thought i would say this but i cant help but agree with riva

There must have been announcement that no passports are required when travelling from the East to all of Sydney.

justin beiber must have tweeted it out or something so all cove members could get the news

Our imports don't take any more or less time than other teams to settle.

For example Janko took an age to get going as did holosko as would players from other teams, we are just notice our players more

that is very true but we have always taken a long time to get going while sydney fc have actually won matches in round one before, round 3 to 5 would be a different story but i just dont see us winning this

I'm feeling pretty nervous about it. Our derby record is in danger of becoming Evertonesque

C'mon riva, brighten up a bit. It's derby week!

Yeah . a bit too early - still in the analytical stage. The brightness will cut in about next Thursday / Friday.
    Never change Riva

I agree too. These guys are professional athletes, it's their job. Obviously they need to become accustomed to the new clubs tactics and formations but individually, there's no reason they need to ease into it.

I disagree with this in so many ways, some points I will raise briefly:

    - No offense but comments like these are quite naive. If your an accountant think of changing countries in terms of changing language, computer systems & accounting regulations. Or a school teacher changing states with different syllabus, tests & systems.

    - Australian conditions (not just temp but field quality) along with travel aren't as easy as people think, this is not FIFA or FM. The type of preseason (how hard & long) plus injuries also wreck havoc in an already complicated equation.

    - There are only a select few who have come to the A-League and shone straight away (BKF, Berisha, Broich). Plenty take time to adjust to unique Australian conditions (Ono, Janko, Andreu, Castro) but many others either only show glimpses without hitting form consistently (Takahagi, Tanaka, Castelen) whilst the rest just fail completely (Saba, Adeleke, Pio). I'm sure there are many others. It isn't just a Wanderers related problem.

Apart from the odd one here and there seems like only level 6 left.  Hope my son and gf enjoy our member seats I'll be in the gods with all the cool people :(

Yeah i am in the oxygen mask seats, down at the right end of the stadium at least.

Possible shower and 29 forecast. Not too bad at this stage.

    Anyone got a PAX?

    No PAX

But night forecast is minimum 13C.

With an 8.00pm game should be pleasant with 1% chance of rain at this stage

Perfect weather for a good game of football and big walk up.

and you know what is the strangest thing?

As I get older I swear the incline on those switchbacks gets steeper. ....

Ha if i see an oldie huffing and puffing his way up and stopping every now and again then it may be you ;-).

Never sat up on level 6 before and not looking forward to it. But at least right to the side and above the rbb.

Forecast is for 13c at pitch level for kick off.... so probably around 6c up on level 6 with the chance of a sleet shower lol

Wonder if there will be a derby promotion at the Nrl gf today. Going to have 80k+ people attending.

most likely nothing outside the stadium due to nrl regulations, however anz stadium has been having the sydney derby sign displayed on the adverts next to the big screen and id expect the same to happen at the nrl tonight.

Category A Tickets no longer available under WANDERERS option. Category B still Limited Availability.

Category B are single seats only on level 6, in end bays.

Best seats (2 together) available in Category E (nose bleeds), would appear to be in row 30 of a central bay

I had a struggle to get three together on level 6 toward the rbb end. But did get eventually. Prob wont make much diff. But wanted to be down that end of the stadium which ever level we could get.

Every thing else kept on throwing out options too close to the Cove for comfort.

The Cove are turning up? Didn't I read that Sydney had not sold that many tickets or has there been a late burst?

Dunno, but away from level 6 down both sides there isnt much available at all.

Gonna take a punt at an attendance of around 74,000ish. Which would be epic.

These are all east stand tickets , has the west stand even been on sale yet ?

Aa usual, ticketek will lower bowl tickets at least 5 days before the game.. Guaranteed.. You'll be surprised there will be many tickets in that area..

I read somewhere that the first 12 rows in bays on western side near half way, will need to be vacated should bad weather require covered benches be used on the night
