That's crazy why would they go to Korea midweek ?

Right at this moment the sun is out  Regardless of whether it stays out, its given me a little pep for tonight. Looking forward to it!

 

Don't mean to sound cynical or anything, but I remember how a lot of of our supporters were rubbishing the whole 'family friendly' theme the FFA was going with. Now we want it? How times have changed.

 

I thought about this too. But then it can be looked at both ways. FFA talk about family friendly but they put games on at difficult hours for kids and then demand people behave in what they consider to be a family friendly way - even though there will be less kids there!

 

It's not debatable that parents with kids would prefer earlier times than 7:50 (really 8) starts on Fri and Sat, and no 7pm starts on Sunday. What is up for debate is what is considered a family friendly atmosphere. Many parents are quite happy with the behaviour in the grounds but the FFA haven't asked the fans, they've made their own decisions based on what is said in the media. And the outcome is - you can pretty much do what you want as long as you don't get on the news.

 

Anyway, BIG GAME. Win here and we've got a nice buffer in 6th.

What is a family friendly time, seriously? I swear I see people complaining about the time no matter what day or time the game is on. Is Saturday 5pm a family friendly time? But what if the kids have to play their own u10s game late in the afternoon.

Sun is out and according to BOM the rain should stay away during the game.

Family friendly times are a mix of all of the possiblle time slots. Families put up with later kick offs if it is shared with earlier times. That is sacrifice and compromise for all stakeholders. Families deal with next day because it's not all the time.

Now it's just late and you get the **** kids next day syndrome every game. Wears thin very quickly.

But as long as Tsatsimas responds to the stakeholders he cares about which isnt the bums on seats then he's happy. If they don't want families at games then this year's fixture blueprint is the way to go.

How is a Saturday 7pm game bad for families is what I'm confused about, since there is no school the next day and I'm fair sure most kids play football on Saturday mornings anyway.

Best home first half for ages, even Jumpei is looking good.

We need another goal....we are not very good at holding on to a lead. Another goal and the NIX will be gone.

This must be the best start to a game we had and IMO the best starting lineup.

Just thinking before, Jumpei is best when he is the lead up guy before the lead up guy. That way there is no disappointment with the final ball into the guy in the scoring position.
