Put Spira in the mids next to Poljak. We're getting killed in the midfiield lately.

It might do something, but the way we are playing and the way our ball control is so bad is more of a worry. I remember seeing on the Marty Lo thread, Marty's brother mentioning that the team was doing a lot of fitness training but not much work with the ball at their feet. This could be part of the problem. Our players are chasing all game and simply tiring (when you factor in the fitness work they do during the week).

You look at Spira and how comfortable he looked for the Socceroos with the ball. You watch when he comes to play with us how he'll struggle to find a player to pass to, and will end up going back to the keeper or just hitting it out etc. Not expecting too much this week. If we somehow manage to find a way to win, it'll be ugly, but I'll take it.

Leaving aside my own commitment to attend this match if I'm forced to sit in the sun on a 36'C afternoon (most here wouldn't think of me as a real football supporter anyway (whatever that may mean...))...

What are the chances that the game could be delayed? Might the A-League (and Foxtel), bow to pressure in light of criticism from earlier in the season? A later game on Sunday is hardly ideal given most would have work and/or school commitments the next day, but in the interests of player welfare a later start would be best.

I'm going Sunday. I haven't got tickets yet as I'm planning on getting them at the gate. I think a 9000 + pax is excellent at this stage. A 3-4000 roll up at the gate gives us anything between a 11-13000 crowd. I think that's brilliant considering we are winless this season.

I don't give a **** what the temp is going to be. I'll be there with young Wanderson and we'll be putting in the hard yards as fans.

This club needs us as fans now more than ever.

With what they have given us fans over the past 2 years, how could I possibly deny them my support this Sunday?

I can't ******* wait!!!!
