I need help here. I have a family membership (wife, 2 kids, 3 years old & 4 months old). Do I have to register each family member or my membership registration covers them all. I can't believe there is no option to add people onto my registration. It's going to be a bit tricky getting the kids to register online as well considering their ages.

A totally non-inconvenient timeframe. Monday morning.. from 9am. Hahah

    Dammit.

Still a better time compared to a year ago - 7am on the public holiday greeting Shinji at the airport ;)

On the last screen where you have the Submit button, I also had another button that said something like "Add another event".  So because I have two memberships, I have done it again and registered for two so that the missus can come along too (I hope I did it correctly).

I have a family membership (Wife son & daughter), I have all of their login details as I got the membership and just logged in for each of them to register. Although I suspect the "Add another event" by bombagol would have been an easier way of doing it. Great idea by the club and very easy timing being the public holiday!!

Yes I have all of their log ins but it is a very time consuming exercise. it hasn't been thought out properly. A family membership should have kids under a certain age joined to the adults log in, with a drop down box to add in wife and/or number of kids. It's done now. I've had my whinge, all good.

So does that mean there not sending out memberships in mail till after this day.

Lol 9.30am is going to be challenging for some people

The cards I think are going in the mail (or at least, they will go in the mail if not picked up). The packs might not be. I presume the packs would be available for pickup during the season.

Leaving it a bit late arent they? If they are waiting until after the 7th to send out membership cards that leaves less than 8 working days to have them sent out and received by members who don't pick them up.

Given our past membership and merchandise mail out issues, I'm sensing a potential f*ck up on the cards

Please let us know if you will be joining us at Wanderland by logging onto your Wanderers account  here.

Registrations close on Thursday 3 October so be sure to answer by 5pm that day.

    1. Club probably trying to save money with picking up the pack.

    2. Last year, people had to get their membership card from the main grandstand on match days (if they weren't mailed out on time or joined later)... No biggie - just more of the same.

all membership cards i am lead to believe will be mailed out

all membership packs will be available for pick up on public holiday monday..and i presume much like last year if u dont pick it up, it will be mailed out to you at a later date

Could be interesting to rock up to this after the preceding day's rendezvous for those of us going to Hubertus for Oktoberfest...

Hubertus is not holding Oktoberfest activities this year ??? I was there for dinner during the week and asked them what they had planned, as its always a good day there. They said that there had been some in=house disagreements and therefore they will not be doing it this year...Open as normal though. do they still hold the one at Fairfield showground and markets..that was the best i could remember..

WTF?? This is news to me! I just checked their website and its showing that they are still running it, so will have to dig more. And the Fairfield one has been dead for a few years now...

EDIT: Just rang them and it is still going ahead but on a smaller scale. No tent outside but the band and food/beer still happening.

yeh that indicates something is happening..I think it may be a watered down version of what they usually do though, from what the woman in the restaurant told me..perhaps call them to double check.

Cost will be a gold coin or something..

Hmmm...this all opens Pandora's Box. I'm wondering...what would people feel about maybe switching from the Hubertus on the Sunday to a get together at the Bavarian Bier cafe in Parra on the Monday?

Not sure if this is relevant to your plans but I just received this:

"Oktoberfest @ Emu Sports Club. Sat 28 Sept. Oom PahPah Band from 12 noon. Slap Dancers, German Beer & Food, Kidz Korner with Clown, Free Eevent."

Was talking to memebership just now, they said that membership cards will be posted this week and that you will need it to get your members pack on the 7th of October.

The Emu Plains Oktoberfest is shite...went there a couple of years ago and was limited to German hot dogs and Becks....fuhgeddabouddit.

    Food thread?

Anyway, what will the season launch entail ?

Mack? You went last year yeah?

I don't think there was an event at Parra stadium open to the public (members) like this. They had a private gala type function I believe. I didn't go to that.
