Wanderers Season Launch On Monday 7th October

Does anyone have a link to where we can view the photos taken at the premiers plate. I think wanderland travel were taking them and they were to be put onto their facebook account but i can find links anywhere

What's in the membership pack?

I didn't get that! I got the Black and White membership.

it was a IPAD / Tablet cover. Very noice

For those that could not make the season launch, are the membership kits sent out to us?

 

I think maybe there were people who moved over to that corner to watch the training.

 

the RBB was sectioned off. you could only get into the North Terrace by showing your RBB membership and going through gate C.

 

Although this was true in theory, it wasnt how it worked on the day.

I walked into my Bay 44 seats first and then got out of the stadium and was issued a "Parramatta Stadium - Pass Out" as i indicated i would be returning.

I walked around the stadium to Gate C and showed them the "Pass Out" and was allowed in instantly.

No scanning of my membership.

The Pass Out didn't indicate which gate you left from and therefore you could enter any bay with ease.

It came with my Red Reserved Membership

i got 2 memberships in the RBB for my brother and I. no cases.

i got 2 memberships in the stands for siblings / family etc. both got cases.

To be honest i found the whole fan day pretty boring and if being honest comparing them to the SFC fan days from years ago we still have a long way to go.

 

We need to be interactive, have stalls and marquees with things for kids to do, talk with players whilst signing autographs.

 

Just more inclusive. Paint a flag etc etc

Even things like a petting zoo, or having reptiles for the kids to look at & interact with.

Stalls & marquees is a must IMO - face painting, temporary WSW tattoos, food stands, etc.

Even the opportunity for us all to go onto the hallowed turf of Wanderland would've been nice!

Plenty of ideas for the seasons to come though - would love to see some of this implemented.

Agreed...missed opportunity for the most part. Could've had all manner of extras to get the fans pumping...I for one would've liked to have seen the Holy Boots of Dino carried around the perimeter of Wanderland allowing the faithful to pay homage to the sainted one 

Favourite part of the day were the flare buckets along the RBB fence.

We need a members merchandise swap thread.  You offer, say what you want and leave your details.  Disappointed since I just received a cheapo esky bottle cooler from my youngest for Father's Day at the school stall.

And it could be hosted by Noel Edmonds (Older English circa 40's ex pat folk will know what I'm talking about)

i'm not sure which is more useless out of last season's seat cover or this season's tablet case(tho it could come in handy to keep small wsw merch in).

a wsw towel sounds ok and the cooler looks useful so i'll try and swap with someone.

so does a family end up with 4 tablet cases or 4 towels or 4 coolers?

maybe next season they can let us choose.

Is the sports towel meant to be like... "work yourself into a sweat during games" for the RBB or do they just think we need a clean?

Reminds me, when the Wanderers were split in two doing pressing/passing drills near the grandstand... did anyone see some of the 'omgwtf' passes Ono was doing?

he didn't even look for some of them

HOW CAN HE BE THAT GOOD

seriously, his awareness of the game is amazing - he knows what pass to make, knows how to make said pass, but also has the skill to pull it off 99% of the time

At the end any ticket scanned anywhere a lot of ppl were having a look from diff areas

I knew one of the seccas at gate c he was saying the seccas weren't to concerned letting kids have a look as there was Barely any1 in the terrace

I went down to my bay 58 n picked my standing spot on the fence

Then went rd the other stands for a look

Also 5:20 $ for a fake coke was a joke
