I assume the away goals rule will kick in from here on.

Would take a 1-1 draw in Japan from the first leg and a 0-0 from the second leg.

I reckon we should send a few players over there in advance if we get into the final... Haliti, Appiah, Golec, Mullen, Tyson, Trifiro, Perkatis, Heffernan should all leave Australia 2 days before the final and then we fill the squad with whoever feels best after getting off the plane. If we park the ***** bus over there, we should be able to win on the home leg with a fairly fit squad...

    Very tough draw.

First leg in Japan a slight advantage.

Yup. We'd have been better off coming 2nd, FC Seoul who apparently have one victory this season in the K-League.

Definitely a fan of flying some players over early. We have the depth to pull this off.

3 days after grand final (if we make it and win it) will be a tough one and no celebration drinks for the boys except for Poljak he can get shite faced all he wants :)

I get this feeling we will have a similar fairytale season like last in the ACL and could end up in world club challenge.

If we win the grand final I'm kidnapping Poljak and we're hitting up either the cross or Milton Road depending on which state we're in. You're all welcome to join.

Will be surprised if we don't sell out (even if it's a weeknight) Shinji's LAST EVER game in the red and black.

    And more potentially

    Hersi

    Mooy

    Polenz

    NTS

    Beauchamp

    etc..

Going to be an emotional one.

**** Popa scored a lot of goals for a defender for them. Great to see some history in our first matchup.

They looked pretty good against the Mariners. It's going to be a tough ask. Especially so close after potential GF.

Mind you the Mariners played terrible last night - flat footed, clearly conserving energy

The Sea Bogans gave these guys the game last night. Only after going a goal down did they decide to play some attacking football. When they did, they got into some handy positions , but too little too late by then. Why should we park the bus? The way we played in the last game overseas was brilliant , great organized defence n good counters . We can take these guys then move on into the QF's n kick some more butt!!!! COYW!!!!!!!

So true. I didn't mind parking the bus in the group games but we have to attack after our home grand final victory.

As we discovered a few weeks back, parking the bus and

WSW doesn't sit too well. We can attack all out and Hiroshima won't know what hit them....AGAIN.... :ninja:  :smurfpoint:

Lol , that's so wrong , but funny!
