Sounds like they are doing a 7 circles of Hell job on the survey ... you start with the outer circle of the first survey and work your way inwards. They will whittle it down bit by bit until they are left with the most obvious choices.

the sooner they get this 2nd survey out, (hoping they give a 2nd survey) the better.

If the choices have been overwhelming we might not need one. The trends after it was out for a week was towards traditional stuff.

Yeah true, they may have found out they have no time when I do suspect they are on a very strict deadline for certain things.

They are running out of time, so they may just go by the feedback that they got at the forums. Lets hope they don't listen to the kid who said pulse

No room for input re: kit.

I want white trimmings... but don't want to give the impression that I want as much white as black and red.

good to see that the three colourways up are the three most favourite on this site. and the ridiculous names such as sydney beats, sydney pfc, sydney pulse are not there. of the five names i'd favour wanderers, but i wouldnt mind athletic or wolves

    great news about the colours

the names are a big worry. i perfer wanderers, wouldnt mind athletic, but the other three are just dumb. strickers, wolves seriously? ones brisbanes and the other is woolongong, and not a fan of rangers

i wrote this on the facebook page: guys how can it be strikers or wolves? we know strikers are brisbanes, and wolves are for wollongong. it has to be something traditional. my only concern is this: its clear from all the forums and online voting that the majority want a traditional name, what happens if the voting goes (for eg) wolves 33%, wanderers 30%, and athletic 25%. that clearly shows that over 50% of people want a traditional name yet wolves still win, how about it gets narrowed down to 2 names and thats the final voting?

There is room for input on other items ... There was a blank field box for "other" names at the bottom of my official e-mailed version. I chucked in a huge amount of info on suggestions for the club there. Not long now lads ... the black and red army will be on the move.

me neither. But i don't want to vote red black and white and give them the impression i want a shirt with those colours in equal amounts.

i wrote that in the comments. somehow i doubt that will count for much.

I voted just red and black for the very reasons, I didn't want the kit to be equal parts red, white and black and nor did I want lots of white - you'd never know what they were gonna do if you voted for white in there!

same. I think white trim is good, but the way it was offered was an equal part, which means we could be black & white with red trim

Voting for the name and colours for the New Sydney Club representing Western Sydney in the Hyundai A-League for the 2012/13 season is set to close today.

A public vote was launched today as the third stage of a community consultation process involving a large cross section of fans from all over the Western Sydney region.

So far the leading name contenders include Athletic, Wanderers, Strikers, Wolves and Rangers. Fans are also invited to suggest another name in this unique process.

The majority of those canvassed so far have asked for the colours Red, Black and White to be the basis of the team’s colours with three combinations of these also up for vote.

Fans are invited to lodge their preferences at www.footballaustralia.com.au/vote. Voting closes Friday, 11 May, at 5 pm.

From inception, an undertaking was made to ensure community engagement is at core of the new club with a process taking place over the past three weeks seeing more than 1,000 fans have had their say at seven community forums in Mt Pritchard, Parramatta, Rooty Hill, Penrith, Castle Hill, Campbelltown and Bankstown.

Over 4,000 fans have already completed an online survey on the culture, values, name, colours, playing style, personnel and preferred home ground of the new club.

The forums and the online survey have shown a clear preference for the club’s name to include the geographical reference of West or Western.

If the post below is the post you refer too, it would have been me.

The responce was jokingly aimed at playing along with your derogitory reference to the members of the TWSC.

However, if you choose to initiate inflamatory comments towards any group of individuals on this forum, don't expect the members on here to merely accept you contribution and not push back.
