Good to see these young guys getting a go under MB.. All the best Daniel!

Yeah, I shook my head at the suggestion from the NZ commentators during the Nux game last week that the Wanderers needed to start blooding some young players.

I got the impression they don't listen to the A-League much either.

Fox showed a pic of young Daniel as a ball boy at the first game against CCM in 2012/13 last night.

:golecapproves:

So that makes one ball boy and one RBB member (Shabow) who have already played for us. How many other clubs can claim that type of turnaround in juniors...not just in the HAL but across other codes?

And Mo Adam has been a fan since 2012 as a 12 year old.

Just needs to have a quiet smoke on the sidelines to complete the look and overtake Bilic in the cool stakes.

That was a great interaction any chance anyone can post the video  . We don’t know yet if  Babel  is a good coach but what a great human being he is .

Forget Alessi, Aspro, Adam and the like.

This kid will be the academy star that makes his name overseas and as a Socceroo.

Our very own Kieran Tierney

There must be something on the field or something its no coincidence were getting these knee injuries quiet frequently and to a young player no less.

...or.......the current conspiracy from Bossi is that being the youngest he was knee capped by the coaching staff and made " an example of"....to silence dissent....:ninja:

( Just joking guys )

desperately unkind situation for the lad, being thrown in at the deep end and expected to play to high pro standard from the go every week, bloody tough gig, does not deserve this, chin up Dan you can get through this tough time and come back to fight for that shirt again.

I was very worried about him when he done his ACL. Usually, footballers that come back from an ACL don't play like they used to (Ziegler is a perfect example). Yet, Wilmering has come back better than ever. He has a bright future ahead of him.

Yep....Deserves a contract...the lad can play.

(Aspro is just now showing the form he had with us. Had a good game against the smurfs.)

How good is Wilmering with Robertson strategy over Babbels. I remember criticising the poor kid that he had nothing going forward and looked average. But since the ACL and under Robertson I could never imagine that Wilmering has a left peg so accurate. Could easily become one of if not the best crossers in the league.

Anyone seen his social media accounts recently?

He changed his first name to "Danijel".

Probably influenced from his good mate Vedran.

Didn't kick on did he. Looked ok when he first game in, then really hasn't improved. I remember watching him against Apia in the FFA cup a couple of years back and his confidence looked absolutely shot.

Good luck at the Jets
