I think he should start ahead of Hersi this week as he has speed and he can whip in a good cross

Instead of Bridge rather than Hersi

Cole, Kubi and possibly even Tahj will be utilised this week.

We'll attempt to play an up tempo game against the pathetic defense of ESFC.

Tarek really should be starting this week, showed more in his limited game time on Friday than both Hersi and Bridge combined.

This.

Any idea why Cole and Tahj haven't seen any game time so far?

Taurus?

I assume its match fitness for tahj?

Tahj came on for the last 15 / 20 minutes at Newcastle and absolutely ripped it up.

He then played the 1st half as a right sided midfielder against Bankstown Lions when Dino was rested and has not been sighted on the park since.

He's definately an ace up Popa's sleeve.

I didn't realize he was so young still.

Either did I!

Only 25, I thought he was at least like 28, feels like he has been around forever.

So he's fit and playing well?

Strange he wasnt around v Adelaide then.

Well if theres ever a time to pull the ace out of the sleeve its this weekend.

Im just wondering why Popa has been starting Tarek?

You mean 'hasn't' i assume?

Good question though. Most in his position are playing well generally. Even so, i would bring him in for D'appuzo

I'd play him on the right hand side with Polenz and have Cole at LB. I mean we've got this big striker, lets at least play some players able to give him some good service from out wide.

Should be starting, when he came on against those fairy boys, sydney fc, he created 4 chances from crosses, ripped 3 of their players and got heavily involved. He's one of the fastest blokes in the A-League. Hopefully popa starts him soon.

Might have been too young.

Started at jets from blacktown city I think on a youth/schoolboy/development contract.

Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised as he's really gone off the radar.

Anyone else surprised by the lack of game time Elrich has been getting? With Polenz being suspended, I think its time to give him a go.

I can see Haliti or Elrich getting a look in. For me Haliti has been a nice surprise this year. Has done well when he has come on.

Cole will probably get the nod ahead of Elrich at right back. If anything Elrich will start on the bench against Adelaide.

There is also the possibility that La Rocca could start at RB, but I'd prefer to see Elrich

Saw him play in the youth team on the weekend and yet again he put in a very good performance. He's got an excellent cross, but I just can't see Popa giving him any game time. He doesn't seem too happy here either, something is definately going on behind the scenes, I'd very much doubt if he'd be here next season, especially considering Polenz and Cole have re signed.

It's a real shame for mine, he was marketed as one of the faces of the team but is just stuck in the youth team.
