*sigh*

Hopefully the world class outfield players we're going to sign will mean our goalkeepers won't be called upon.

Keepers are sooo overrated.

All they have to do is take goal kicks & pluck the ball out of the net.

You're wrong. When I was a keeper, someone took my goal kicks for me

I once ran out of the penalty area to kick the ball out!

Not a real goalkeeper. We would never lower ourselves to leaving the 18 yard box

Interesting that when one makes a comment in regard to ALeague standard GK's, peeps automatically choose to dispute it based on their personal experience from playing U8's.   :shok:

just be sure not to say he's better than Tyson.

That wouldn't be difficult.  :xnod:

Maybe I should duplicate this post in the unpopular thread.

Only 7 clean sheets in his A-League career. What a joke. Any amateur goalkeeper could get the same, if not more..

Welcome and good luck as back up, hopefully Kalac earns his pay check and can turn him around like Janjetovic.

turn him around ? Vedran was killing it in the State League and has continued that form, his success is only his not that wanker Kalac
