We play worse when Dino isn't starting I reckon. It's like we don't know what to do. He made some fantastic defensive clearances as well.

Massively agreed Dino seems to fill that hole for us perfectly, he may not be doing much in way of scoring goals but he's always holding up the ball very well and laying it off for the support play on their way through.

I also had some pleb behind me yelling at Dino some geeza!

When Dino gets lazy you can see it and it pisses me off. But when you get the Dino like we saw aginst Wellington (and not Central Coast), then it really makes us much more dangerous and aggressive. When he chases defenders down, you then see the likes of Ono, Bridge and Hersi swarm like bees to get the ball back. We are immediately on the offensive.

A lot of people don't like his aggressive tackles, but I think it is a good sign in him. It means he is keen. Even his dives means he is desperate to gain an advantage for us. This is the Dino we need on the field. He is a bit of a leader for the team in a way when gives 100%. I love it when I see the chest pump :)

Agreed. He is great when he is hungry for it, but I find he is inconsistant. So many times he appears that he can't be bothered to chase if the ball is not given to his feet. Hope to see more fire in him coming into the end of the season

I haven't seen him under-motivated to chase and work since before the Massacre of Adelaide Taipai...since then he has always given what I've thought to be a lot of passionate graft on the field. Now if you were to ask me has that graft been matched with skill and economical application of effort with results then I'd have to say no. He's a bit like the Eric the Eel of A-League strikers....lots of flailing and splashing about to get to the end result, and whilst it ain't pretty you have to admire his spirit.

if hersey passed it just a second ago your mate was wide opened with pretty much an empty goal but hersey blasted straight at the keeper

Dino deserved at least 1 today.

Yes he probably did but if he doesnt take his chances he may not get resigned.

I feel your pain Balkanite...Dino was robbed of that goal by a fking deflection.

Yep i was fuming .. i wanted to see him score and to see him get a huge roar from the traveling RBB

Have had just about enough with this useless non-footballer.

"Heart", "Workrate", "Pride for the club", "Holds the ball up well" bla bla bla...he's a woeful finisher and the stats show it. 1 goal all season is pathetic. Need to cut our losses with Dino at the end of the season and move on. Best for him and the club

is your opinion. how about some facts? here's one for ya - dino has scored more goals in the a-league than messi, beckham, ronaldo and pele combined.

thats a pretty good reason to re-sign him.
