first player to leave and then re sign for us again? Saba n Bulut would have big grins on their faces now. There is hope!

#relaxdino

Saba can smile all he wants. Wont get him a WSW contract

Why would Saba want to leave the luxury of the Italian third division?

Don't think anyone saw it coming but I'm happy to see him back. He deserves the opportunity to make the #1 his own. We all know how much he bleeds red and black, here's the perfect chance to prove his worth.

Are you serious??? He was always coming back, just a matter of when he's only 26 which is a spring chicken for a keeper.  :woah:  :woah:  :woah:

Tyson is a good bloke. And an even better number 2 keeper. He has played less matches in his professional career than Redmayne played last season.

He has bounced from club to club, and probably been through 20 coaches and goal keeping coaches, and every single one of them has had the same opinion. He simply isn't a first choice keeper. No matter how much everyone hates Redmayne and how much everyone loves Tyson, that isn't going to make him a better player.

The improvement Redmayne made from the start of last season to the end of the season was astronomical. If he improves the same amount in 2016/2017, we're going to have a keeper on our hands worthy of being the number 1 at an A League club. Right now we've got the best number 2 in the business on the field (Redmayne) and the best number 2 in the business off the field (Tyson). Hopefully Redders can keep improving and become that number 1 we need.

Tyson bleeds Red and Black. I love the bloke and I love what he brings to the club. But every single thing that I love about Jerrad Tyson relates to things that happen off the field. Not what he can do between the sticks.

I guess that's a fair call...

Apparently his HK club are folding.

And within minutes Facebook exploded with desperate "Come back Jerrad we miss you" pleas. People need to let go FFS.

JT's a nice bloke and a competent keeper but it's not like he was cut due to an exorbitant salary demand. I wish him well but I can't see him back with an A-League club anytime soon. I doubt a year in the HK League has suddenly turned him from journeyman to the next Mat Ryan…

lol

Redmayne > Tyson

Time will tell but hard to make that sort of call when we didn't see very much of Tyson & what we have seen of Redmayne doesn't inspire confidence.

we saw plenty of redmayne, and very little of tyson.

i think time has told us what we needed to know :P

Hope JT proves all the haters wrong & takes his chances showing everyone that he is good enough for this league!! Just a shame it's not with us :( & :nono:

I don't think anything I've said recently contradicts the view I held then, does it? I still like the guy, and I still think there are questions as to whether he'll ever break through. I was wrong about seeing him back with an A League club, true, even if he's come back in n the second spot again.

this whole situation.

didn't get a chance at wsw, kept only clean sheets for us, Popa was wrong to let him go, blah blah blah.

can't wait to see what happens and the comments when he's let go at the end of next season or the season after without getting much game time. Just cos he seems like a good bloke, doesn't make him good enough or Popa or Pon Corry wrong. It just means YOU have more time for him.

Yeah your right lets bag the **** out of him now,

i'm not bagging him here, and i hope i'm wrong, but let's face it - he got dropped from the #1 spot in the Hong Kong league, and he couldn't oust a 40+ year old Covic at Perth. In fact, I don't think (i'm probably wrong here though) he even played a game for them once Ante arrived.

Anyway, he'll have a whole pre-season with Kalac and he might make himself into that #2 goalkeeper we've never had.

Good luck to him, but sometimes the nice guys aren't the best guys.

I hear what you are saying, and to be honest, I have some reservations to, which have been discussed here. but I dont wish the guy to fail so we can say to his devout supporters, see I told you so..

I think Pup actually summed it up well on another thread, anyway, just thought that was a bit harsh. Up the Hibs...

i dont get why tyson isnt selected he has looked great for us when he has played

Goat we watched him play during the Cessnock pre-season game. He isn't as good as Redmayne.

Alexander's t on his keyboard clearly busted from trying to type toilet so many times in his issues from the weekend.

I thought Tyson had garnered his own weather system for a minute
