Watched Joey score a hat trick against Sydney United for Blacktown City this arvo, accompanied by Taurus. He was in pretty decent form and almost pulled off a St Dino moment with of all things a back heel on goal. You would think he's never coming back to the A-League but nice to see him in the goals.

Cracking header for his 1st goal.

Had a chat to Joey post game & he was telling me he hit the goal he scored from the free kick, under the jumping wall rather than around it, as it appeared from our vantage point.

If he did it wouldn't have been for Blacktown....

His goal on the weekend was just insane, but don't think he's up to a full time A League gig.

He did hit that well but that's the most I've seen him do all season really (from the games I've been to). He normally warms the bench for most of the game and is subbed on for Major when he runs out of steam.

Having attended many many Blacktown games, Joey has the worst first touch, pass and strength but holy cow can that dude finish when needed.

Great to see him put a couple past Central Coast, Blacktown deserved that win.

Probably a stronger squad than some of the NPL2 aspirants

Yeah, Crittenden has done well at recruiting.
