I think Bulut would need to directly offend the fans and disrespect the supporter base in a big way to bring on that kind of backlash.

The Mooy booing, is a residual from our NRL sympathetic fans, that think NRL behavior transcends football..

"Ref is a wanker" is another personal favorite...

i just hope we dont have any pathetic fans that boo him. like the jokers who boo mooy yesterday (the kid left on a good note we just couldnt keep him and has never said a bad note about us) booing should be ban from all sport but the booing at mooy yesterday extra cringe worthy.

he should have turned around to the ones that booed him as he took that wicked free kick that went in and just gave them the good old fashion forks hahah

he celebrated too hard against us man, he deserved it...

The World Game are reporting that Bulut was with family members and was not directly involved in the verbal altercation. They also said that John Tsatsimas accompanied Bulut to Auburn police station on Wednesday.http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2015/03/11/western-sydney-wanderers-star-bulut-charged-police

that is much better if he wasnt involved but if he wasnt why was he charged?
Read what shacols said about intimidation below. It appears that he will get charged with it & after going through the court system to clear his name, the charge will probably get dropped after they prove that he wasn't involved in the incident even though he was there whilst it was happening. Seems like bullshit thatge stayed out of it but still gets charged, I think that's bullshit!

I agree with most of your comments.

My experience in regards to your comments on him being charged because police have evidence isn't exactly so mate.

Prydz I can go to the police station right now and say you intimidated me or assaulted me. You would be charged and would have to spend some money defending yourself. Done deal. You would probably get not guilty at court in about 6 months time considering I was about 30 km away from you when I claim the incident happened.

Just saying lol.

Anyone with any legal knowledge that could shed light on this? Edited by Prydzopolis

nobody is going to be booing bulut...

i would have thought the same for mooy and proven wrong.

Mooy booing was a result of a guy that was a part of the first season squad leaving to take more money,

also from a questionable attitude that he displayed after he had already signed for City halfway through the season.

Reading the World Game article, it said that Bulut will have to appear at local court on 7th April.

Would he miss the home fixture against FC Seoul?

I'm sure his solicitors will handle it for him, however the decision to be made is does Popa play him anyway

If the club make him available, Popa will select him.

As far as I've read Bulut was identified by the McDonald's manager who contacted the police. The clubs legal advisor may have recommended for Bulut to report to the police and give a statement. For things to proceed the police would then have to formally charge Bulut. Now Bulut will go to court where I assume the offence will be dropped unless the McDonald's manager contests.

All in all I think it's safe to assume Bulut has done nothing wrong.

lol almost every player in the world leaves for better money if given the chance reus and (that fella that played for liverpool last year that went back to his old club) are very rare players and i do not think it warrants booing and he is young so his attitude is going to be all over the place until he matures...look at tomi

The guy should get biggest cheer!

And smithies writes last night's defeat of Melbourne victory. Gffff flop.

As for up to 2 years imprisonment, lol... Russel packer almost killed a guy and was out in a year.

Was/is his nick name fudge when he was in jail?   :ninja:

My issue with Mooy was that he pretty much didn't care about the club the moment he signed for City. I don't think many people will remember but he hardly played a role in the squad after he signed the new contract & one of his few appearances he made was in the grand final. Would have loved to have seen the Mooy of this season play his heart out in that game to change that game but his head was already in Melbourne. If he had truly cared for his time at our club, do you think he would carry on like he did when he scored against us home & away? He is pretty much lost to us now. Suffice to say that I can understand why some have booed him or see him in a negative light.

Daniel Agger. A great servant of the club, and one of my favourites of the modern era. I still miss him in the back line :(

He literally has done nothing wrong

I was speaking to my sister (who is a solicitor) about this and she reckons there must be more to the story if they've decided to charge him. Not many of these cases end with just a slap on the wrist. He'll probably get something, even if it's a fine (which could be up to $5500). Especially considering his past behaviour blah blah.

But I'm glad the club (even though it's probably because they have no one else to play lol) are going to let him keep playing until/if he is proven guilty.

This is what has confused me, if he wasn't involved in the incident then why was he charged? Surely because they realised "wait, he is a WSW player" isn't enough to be charged. Shacols was saying you only need to put a report into the police in order for someone to be charged, so maybe that was that? I guess until the whole story comes out, who did what & what part each person played it is all speculation.

**** I hate Paul Lederer, I'm reading up today about how he doesn't like the "negative publicity" that Bulut has brought.  Seriously go **** yourself Lederer. You stood the poor bloke down for a charge that I can't make sense of.

Bulut wasn't directly involved in the verbal altercation. How the **** can you get charged with INDIRECT intimidationHow do you indirectly intimidate someone? You either directly intimidate them or you don't.

"It is understood Bulut was not directly involved in the verbal altercation but was identified as a Wanderers player.

He was charged with one count of intimidation and was granted conditional bail. He will appear in Burwood Local Court on 7 April."

I got your back Bulut. **** Lederer right off.

I get a look at the newspapers when I buy my coffee in the morning. They quoted him in some poor rehash article of the event.
