His first stint at the Wanderers career burned bright, quickly becoming a supporter favourite for his passion and goal scoring ability only for a rumoured falling out with the senior playing staff & coaches seeing him leave the club at the conclusion of his first and only season in the Red & Black. After a horror run for Iraklis he initially came back to the Wanderers for a short trial before signing a 2 year deal. His second coming lastly little more than half a season as he fell victim to Tony Popovic's notoriously short fuse and joined Andrew Redmayne in being punted from the club in January 2017.

Had three shots today and all of them were hit softly at the keeper.

If he fired at least one into the back on the net, he takes on cult hero status.

As it stands, he let us down a bit tonight.

Let us down? Lol.

He played for 20 minutes... I think he had the most shots on target than anyone else on our team lol

Should've subbed off Tomi.

At least this #14 can get shots on target.

I think at least 2 of them were from his non-preferred left.

If he was bridge he'd be copping it.

I disagree that he let us down but just saying.

If the poor fella had a little more game time, I reckon he would of put that shot in the corner to make it 3-3

From my angle it looked as if he didn't pin point the ball properly when he took the shot. Either way he was absolutely gutted.

The difference in engagement right now between Tomi and Kerem is like that between Saba and Shinji.

Don't know what the fook is wrong with Juric but can see as clear as day what is right with the Illustrated Man

i think it is juist confidence tomi seems quiet when he is on the ball and doesnt seem comfortable at all...i think bulut will push him out of the side not drive him to peform better IMO

I reckon with the confidence he had after the Derby, he should've netted.

And Juric was great at running down and pressuring the ball carrier for most of the match I thought. He was quite a handful but he didn't have enough chances to shine on the ball, I felt.

I'm hoping this isn't the case, but Tomi passed on a huge salary increase just a few months ago, which might still be open to him in the summer. If he knows the offers are still there no matter how the rest of his season goes, he may be playing not to get injured and just walking out his contract - it doesn't seem unreasonable give the average wages of Australian players to suggest that a AU$500k+ signing on bonus might be thrown his way once his wanderers contract expires, given that he turned down a transfer that would've put $1.5m in WSW's pockets.

This is a symptom of short contracts in a developing league - and as I said, I really hope it isn't the case, but Tomi is walking round the pitch, doesn't seem to care, doesn't seem to have any fire in him and doesn't seem to be making runs or moving the way he used to. Compare to his Socceroos performance where he created our winning goal all by himself, either he's just wrecked or he's mentally switched off. Either way I'd rather see Kerem play - he's shown he cares and has the quality.

bulut has gone very well imo, shame that he got no service today but the derby he did well, i thought he would go well in the A-league given the chance and so far so good

Totally agree goat, you can't fault his commitment and I was surprised when he was replaced to be honest. I thought Castellan had a good run today also but needed to come off as his fitness is not up to lasting much more than half a game or so. I think Bulut would of lasted the game and then some. At this point in time and how shite we are playing, I can't see why not trying with both Tomi and Bulut up there at the same time wasn't an option.

Castellan and Bulut are our best players atm, i dont know if Bulut and Tomi would get into each others way, still shame on Bulut for liking coldplay and home and away(neither really seem like him)

lol true :P i really hope he gets better service, i was also thinking he is like a Dino who can score goals but no one could score goals with the service he is getting

In all honesty, Bulut didn't play with the same energy he played with in the Sydney Derby. In that game he was chasing down everything, flying into tackles, getting into good positions & more. Given the fact that he has hardly played for nearly a year & this was his third game in a week whilst he is trying to get back to full fitness then this is no surprise. He lasted 55 mins last week & just over 60 this week, he isn't ready for 90 minutes yet. Still I prefer him to Tomi at the moment.

Dominic Bossi exclusive?

Indeed, I think I hear the sound of Bossi sharpening his pencil for another WSW exclusive in depth story with inside information.

**** idiot.

Farking woeful charge. Some poor lady got murdered the other day.

Agree, but Bulut needs to keep his head down and be a good boy but, he hasn't got many chances and has a great opportunity to turn his life around. Might be a nothing charge, but he can't afford shite like this to follow him around.
