Once again... Tony Basha...

:bouzanis:

I wasn't aware this wasn't the first time we've had a problem with Basha? When was his first outburst?
Just from the way that Fabz was talking, it was as if Basha had a prior history of issues with us and the fans. Interesting to note that he knows that "he was bagged by the fans" but I wander where he got his sources? This forum? Social media? Match days? We are "bandwagon fans like our coach who just uses his players" wow, what a dig at WSW & the club. Don't see him ever doing any business or having anything to do with WSW in the future!

Anyone with any info on previous Basha related issues let us know!

i got told this the same guy who pre-fabricated a pre match press conference recently on rydalmere's tour to malaysia before their first game and posted it on facebook- trying to make it look like the real deal with gatorade bottles on the table, club caps and someone asking questions in the background......

FYI Basha bites pretty hard on Facebook.........

Which page?

Private message telling him people want to use his moon shaped head for renovations at Parra.

He tries to play it down as 'just having a laugh' but his behaviour is proving how much of a tool he is.

He reckons he is a WSW fan and a 'season ticket holder' - I told him he is the Amway of Soccer Academies.

Well he probably is but the way he talks doesn't quite back up those facts!

What a stupid comment to put on a website about a player.

Bagging out the ex-coach just makes the player look bitter.

And right after saying that the coach hadn't won a game all season, it then says that Appiah was part of a team to make the ACL.

So who was the coach who helped him win the ACL?

Oh that's right, it's the same coach that he was just slagging off in the last paragraph!!

What a moron.

Basha runs australian soccer academy doesn't he? Seems like an absolute tosser.

Good luck to Appiah, but I don't think he was any different from season 1 to now. Can't really blame 'personal issues'.

Hmmm, plenty of interest, hey?

Good to see his client chose the Jets for the next stage of his development. :good:

I know it's not confirmed, but is he up there trailing with them at the moment? I thought a week ago he was overseas?

If there's one player that has been given countless chances to prove himself that is Kubi. He's played so much more than many other players and still didn't show signs of improvement. Just blame it on the girlfriend. Blame it on Popa. Blame it on me. It's everyone's fault but Kubi's.

To be fair, I haven't heard or seen anything coming from Kwabena, its his agent that is making all the noise. In fact I feel sorry for the kid because his agent is pretty much drawing a bad picture for Kwab's future.

I think Kwabs knows he didn't perform well and also knows that WSW gave him the opportunity to play in grand finals and made him ACL champion and he will never forget that.

If only the player had motivated us with good performances to post here. Instead, we had to wait for Appiah to leave and the Basha dude to have a number of dummy spits for this thread to come alive.

Really don't know what Basha is going on about. No young player had more opportunity than Appiah to show his stuff. One the plus side, what I remember about him right now is a heck of a game at Dec 28th in Melbourne against Traore (yes, THAT game), and the impact he had on the WSW vs Sanfrecce quarter final when he came on late in the game.

What I also remember is a sack full of poor decisions and seemingly aimless runs.
