Great photo Mack.

Hopefully we saw more of him. I liked the look of him but like most youngsters needs to bulk up a bit!

But  but  but.... none of our players are bulky.  We have the least bulky team in the A League.

The club on Twitter congratulated him by calling him 'Fully Sick Youlley'. As funny as it is, I find it to be poor choice of words for an official club account. Unless I have missed the point in the reference in which case I'd love for someone to enlighten me.

More than likely an inside joke, pretty sure I've seen something like it on his Instagram

its a poor choice of words for anyone.

but really, who gives a toss? that sort of stuff gives us an insight into how close a group the wanderers as a whole are, and frankly a little joke with the players every now and then is much better than some boring generic goal tweet that you could get anywhere from multiple sources tweeting the game.

Who gives a toss?

I do.

If it were a "little joke", that you know, football fans were aware of, or even if it were player to player - then that might be different.

But if it's an inside joke, just from the WSW Twitter account with no explanation for (what should be the targeted audience of said professional Twitter account) of football & WSW fans, then nah, it's not relevant or worthwhile of being in said Tweet.

Yeah, there's only one A-League club which does boring generic goal tweets, and I'll give you a hint, it's not:

  • Brisbane Roar,
  • Newcastle Jets,
  • Central Coast Mariners,
  • Sydney FC,
  • Melbourne Victory,
  • Melbourne City,
  • Adelaide United,
  • Perth Glory, or
  • Wellington Phoenix.

A football club can't share a joke with their players on Twitter... I've heard it all now.

Too much overreacting going on really. Emanates to some extent from a pre conceived opinion of the account mod and other content.

I think fully sick youlley is funny!

fully sick Youlley had a great cameo against the Nix. Want to see more of him in the first team.

agreed but when?? bacus is the utility for the midfield if dimas or andreu are out so he is third in line there, but i think he would be excellent to take over Nichols if he is injured, suspended or needs a rest but then again popa would just put vidosic in that role but these kid has surely earnt another run

In place of pepper. Baccus should be our bench midfielder, and youlley on the bench when baccus starts.

Spoke with Liam after the game tonight.

He was replaced at half time with a niggling patella injury

He also confirmed that he has another year to run on his youth contract

Is that the hazelnut spread or the Spanish rice?

It's your kneecap, dropkick

:) I know. I once had to deal with a minimally displaced avulsion fracture of my right patella. Still remember it because it meant I (an overactive 14 year-old) couldn't play for several months.
