Please use this thread to discuss the cocaine incident.

I'll lock the thread, might update it occasionally if there are new developments.

Tony Sage has another mate to party with. Two years doing lines off instagram models. Poor Mitch.

Can he serve his four match suspension in FFA cup games? Or only the A-league?

Knowing the FFA he'll probably serve it in pre-season.

Iirc - ffa cup matches can be used to serve the suspension

Apparently, he will miss the FFA Cup game against Heidelberg. If Perth fail to qualify, he won't be a Spotless in our Round 1 game.

A waste of a signing, or a waste of talent?

A little of both I think but more along the lines that look where he has ended up. He had talent and could play and wasted it all with the off field stuff.

He was talented enough that he should have been playing long-term in Europe or at least a higher tier football in Asia. After his first attempt at going to europe fell apart, he then failed in Japan, did nothing in his first season at Perth, had his one good season at WSW then sucked in the second, went back to Perth, then Wellington and then basically retired from pro football before he turned 30.

An utter failure of application/mentality.

Seems as good as place as any to post

Adelaide United import Ken Ilso has been provisionally suspended after traces of cocaine were discovered in his system by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.

Ilso returned a positive test for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, on January 27 - the day the Reds prevailed 2-1 over the Central Coast Mariners at Coopers Stadium. Ilso was substituted into the match at half-time and played the final 45 minutes

We should have known when he ran 27 victory laps then celebrated on the roof of the grandstand.
