Bad decision to let him go and we won't find a better replacement. Should have been given another year and we will be kicking ourselves if he plays in the league, time will tell how bad this decision was.

Very sad to see him go.

ATB get their way, at least they can discuss other things now...apart from R7 hate

ATB question..When have you discussed other things

Dunno, havent listened to ATB for ages.

Sad to see Castelen go, but expected, not surprised at all.

True on both accounts

When he was switched on, he was our best player easily

Just wasn't turned on that often

then he isnt really our best player, he is our most inconsistent player, would you rather have him play every game in the hope that once in every 15 games he will play at his peak or try to bring in someone who can consistently perform every game

That was kinda ATB's point all season. He was frustrating as hell because you knew he could change a game but most of the time he did what happened in the Grand Final. ie run into traffic then give up when he was tackled.

Name one player that performed every game. Surely no one that was mentioned performed on the GF day.

I would also say if Bridge 'performed' against Adelaide at Pirtek... we wouldn't have played the GF in Adelaide.

Bridge, Nichols and Andreu all went missing when it counted (last few weeks)

Castelen didn't perform constantly but when he did he showed he was the most gifted player he had this season.

lol and if the players you just listed didnt perform at there peak for majority of the season there would have been no finals football and castelen would remain mia

p.s i never said any of them performed at there peak every game

Exactly my point. I don't understand all the Castelen hate.

This is why this is a team sports. Each player has his moments and in our team the only player that delivered constantly every game was Neville (even including his passes) every one else had their off days.

except castelens off day was every day bar 3/4 games. i dont hate castelen, i think he has amazing talent but a talent he rarely showed. i dont see how he has earnt his spot for next year, apart from the hat trick he has failed to contribute regularly witch each of the players you listed have done regularly this season.

Romeo was our Walcott

Too often not a factor but when he was he just **** lit it up

I love the post season dissection interestingly many people blame bridge for the Adelaide stoppage time miss for costing us the title

I think it's unfair to centre in on a moment if you want a game roar away leading 2-1 I was there with damnunited thinking how the **** did we throw it away

Tbh roar were the better team in that game, the Bridge miss was ultimately frustrating because we were the better team and completely dominating them, deserved to win.
