8 is his preferred no. 8 is taken therefore 4+4=8

8 is his preferred number which he played as at Urawa Reds. Logic is that since 8 is already taken, 4+4=8. Probably the reason Shunsuke Nakamura played as 25 for so long. 2x5=10.
