I'll be you whatever amount of money you want that Juric misses this week

?

I think he'll miss it this week too.

The point that I'm trying to make is I don't think he'll miss 4-8 weeks.

Coaches have to play mind games with the media.

Look at Hersi after the derby, Popovic said it was nothing serious but he is still out 3 weeks.

The fact that he said it worse than what they thought indicates a bit of a problem, i would 3-4 weeks at least.

Also the fact that specialists have come into play, if it was just a strain/cramp/minor nobody else from the outside would come into play.

The way he came off made me think that it was a serious injury but then popa plays it down in the media. I know popa is king when it comes to the press with his mind games but what is the harm in saying he is out for 1-4 weeks?

I will admit that he has done the same thing with Hersi, but he was saying that it was a day to day thing with him and he only started training last Thursday.

I believe we have the squad depth to cover a short term injury! I think we would get much more out of Santa in the striker position.

Juric will be out for 17 years  :diablo:

Reality check for some it's a internet forum a place for opinions and a bit of laughter.

If you think everything on players you read here is in fact I think you better realign your expectations.

Woukd not take what Popa says to the media at face value. Juric is most definitely out for more than a week or two and definitely going under the knife, and probably already has.

Yep. I think we have already seen that Popa doesn't give much away. Definitely keeps his cards close to his chest and has the bet poker face out of any coach in the league.

Managers all over the world do it. Arsene Wenger is famous for giving a 3 week timeframe when he knows a player is out for much longer. It's purely and simply mindgames, it keeps your opponents guessing because they don't know how long he's out for so don't know how to prepare to play against us.

Remember when Hersi just had a little bruise and was 50/50 to miss 1 week?

I'm the bearer of bad news on match day.

Just heard of a family friend of Juric's that the doctor told him no football at all for 6 weeks.

So we'll be lucky to have him back in the run on squad for at least 8-9 weeks...

That's not the greatest news to hear. Here's hoping a speedy recovery for the young man.

My cousin's brother spoke to his brother and it turned out that they we were going around in circles.  However, what is clear is that we are all cousins at the end of all of that.

We are not going to see him for some time.

Well ok, to the people who believe me, that's the word straight from the horses mouth. If not there's always Bobans cousins brother.

Yeh, was told the same on Saturday by the trainer (no cousins involved). He had some cartledge removed from his knee on Thursday and is out for 3 to 4 weeks..

A cousins brother is still your cousin....

Hence the second sentence.

@Davo - don't be so sensitive.......
