so disappointed with this news :(. I believe he has alot of potential. watching his highlights video on youtube.some of those crazy balls he has delivered are sheer brilliance. Tanaka seemed solid as well... i hope we replace them both with quality at least!

Meh...had his moments but let's be honest...wouldn't have got the gig if Saba had been what he was supposed to be. Never really created enough to make me that upset about his going. He was reasonable with the dead ball and maybe if he'd come in with more fitness and knowledge of our style of play then maybe it could've worked out long term. If it means we've freed up an o/s place & more dollars for a quality CAM then good stuff

Yeah I feel like if he came into the team when Saba did and had all that time with the squad it would've been a very different story.

LOL at "finishing touches" in the subheading here...........Finishing touches????????

Western Sydney Wanderers released Japanese imports Yojiro Takahagi and Yusuke Tanaka as Tony Popovic looks to put the finishing touches on his squad for next season.

You beat me to it was just about to ctrl v post the same quote. Who rights that crap. Finishing touches! We pretty much need an entire team

Rumour he is going to FC Seoul

Really??

If that was true, I don't see him getting much game time

I see him getting plenty. Don't forget this guy was Sanfrecce's #10 when they won back to back J-League titles. We used him deeper. Quality player.

Better sign a quality attacking midfielder and play him in midfield or releasing him will come back to hurt us next season.

Not happy we couldn't keep him and didn't get a full preseason and chance to show his best.
