I'm also not aware this was available before. This is one of the options I discussed with the membership team on the phone. (Along with I don't know what I'm paying for and you can't guarantee me a seat...) That they waited until after the 15th to announce this stinks.

After a long and polite conversation with the membership team, I decided not to auto renew our family's red membership. Now the day after the deadline for manually paying, I get an email from the club with a plan to hold my membership for $80 (per person). The membership numbers numbers must be very low...

Grant as Cletus the yokel... too funny.

Hello, what you say about the giants is mostly true. But they are playing a long game and the afl are have the cash to do it. This is a bit of an off topic rant, but... Half one of my son's U11 soccer team this past 2 years have played aussie rules together on Sunday. Even at the junior level they are such a well oiled machine. I've got 2 boys. Both play soccer, and one plays both. It's such a contrast. You should see how well organized they are. Plus they do the extra things like Giants development coaches and players visit training (separately) multiple times a season, free ticke

During the game, they need to remember it's not radio - they don't have to fill the dead air. Sometimes silence is good. There's been quite a few times last season when we couldn't take their stupid comments any more and muted the fox coverage.

Yep in 107.

By far the most annoying "expert" tonight was some distance behind me...so quite a way behind you...and very shrill, persistent, inane and female. Sounds like a 13 y.o. girl 2 rows back from me. She was with an adult who was watching something really interesting on his phone. I really wanted to tell her shut up, but a 45 white bloke telling a teen girl want to do isn't a good look. Her expert comments ranged from 'pass it forward', to 'break their legs'. Hopefully that was her first and last visit to our bay.

I agree. The newer ones seem to start out better imho. I liked seeing some of the newer refs in the FFA cup.

My 12 year old son asked a good question the other day. He was remembering the Japanese ref a few weeks ago, having just witnessed the latest VAR screw up. Can we have a marquee fund for imported refs? I said that sounds like a great idea.

Me too.

When Risdon went off, mini bacus was having trouble handling Fitzgerald. He needed more help. The Jumpei sub was a good one to get some help on the right. Although it looked like Bridge was loosing his effectiveness as the game went on. So it might have been a tough call. I thought Gambau used the last sub well.

Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC 9/12/2017 7:50PM

May the VAR be with you... -
FFA have moved the Jets v Victory game due to forecast heat. Was Sat afternoon, now Monday night. I was looking forward to our game being 5pm, but not in 40+ temps. Hope they make it a 7pm kickoff. I suspect ours will only move if Foxtel approve. Given the glory game is a 7:50pm AEDT kickoff its not going to happen.

Late Draw Against For Wanderers Against City (Melbourne Branch)

I'd love nothing more than to see Timmy suspended. Such a goose. But it won't happen. Can you imagine the FFA handing the daily terror and the NRL/AFL such a gift? I can see the squires cartoon now. -
Note to self check Hughesys not going before booking any away trips.I'm cursed. Every season, the player I've gotten on the back of my jersey has ended up leaving too. Why won't you let me love you WSW? 😠I hope you have ordered the Borda and Cornthwaite jerseys!

Thanks for the podcast. I'm at 206 for spotless, and who do we sing for is awesome. Please keep it up. From my point of view it seems like the active bays are doing a great job, and have been trying to compensate for the ground. Mind you my parra tickets were very ordinary. +1 on giving Redmayne support. +1 on the pa being too loud. Also I love the new chant, I've taken to using the podcast clip of it for waking my kids up!
