  1. I'd prefer Nabbout. Can play striker or on the wing. Strong, fast, direct, can score goals and is a significant threat moving fwd. He's also an Aussie, so doesn't take up a foreign spot. That makes him a better buy than Noone. He's a class above Denzel Halls as well.
  2. Who's the team in red and black leading 4-zip... Haven't seen them play this season 🤣
  3. Best half I've seen us play all season. Keep it up lads!!
  4. Did you though? Please tell me it's so... 😜
  5. We've looked dangerous moving fwd thanks to the injection of Kamau and Cox. That extra mobility is completely lacking with Ibini and Troisi starting. We're fragile as Donald Trump's ego at the back though. Look's like we'll crack under the slightest pressure... and we have...
  6. Duke up front is completely wasted. He's strength is his capacity to chase, harass, achieve turnovers, break away by running with or onto the ball. His involvement as a striker nullifies all of that and we desperately need that in our midfield where we've been dominated. Troisi and Baccus are unable to dominate or control the midfield.
  7. For mine - way too lazy defensively to figure as a DM and his distribution is questionable. Certainly nowhere near on par with Dorran's (who plays in the defensive midfield role generally, with Baccus more of a box to box midfielder). If we have a fully fit squad to choose from I'd go with the following: Target man: Cox Wingers: Kamua, Muller Midfield: Duke (AM), Mutch, Dorran's. Backs: Wilmering, Natta, McGowan, Gordan GK: Margush That leaves: Ibini to come on for Cox; Troisi to come on for either Muller or Kamua; Baccus to come on for Mutch. Other possible
  8. We don't deserve to win this. But planet earth doesn't deserve Chris Beath or Whoever the knob in Var is either
  9. Amazing what a difference a real striker makes. Cox's runs and ability to create space made that. Great cross and finish. Direct purposeful play for once. 👏
  10. The real crime is, we have the squad to play him out wide. Instead, Robinson insists on diluting one of our most technically gifted players strengths by playing him out of position.
  11. For someone who doesn't have a football brain, you're making a lot of football sense... 😂👏
  12. ^^^ this The formation Robinson has us using isn't working. It depends on having two potent wing backs, bywhich we don't have. We have 3 young kids and DG. All decent players, but they aren't potent. Also, playing 2 up front adds to our woes. We completely lose our midfield at times having a relatively flat 5 at the back and two players high up the pitch. This makes us vulnerable to counter attacks and impedes us when we go forward. We need a formation that maximises our roster and has players with the better football nous on the field as long as possible (ie Dorrans, Muller, C
  13. Let's see what a difference Mutch makes... Btw VAR is a bit of a joke isn't it!
  14. For me, that's on Baccus and Gordon. Baccus should peel away, not be asking for the ball in that situation. He does that way too much. He should learn from Dorran's. And Gordon can see what's in front of him. He should no better than to lay it off to a guy who's closed down. If he has to play it long, so be it. They've pressed high. We have two up front. It's simple risk mitigation. Brainless for me.

  16. What can you say. Baccus 3 cheap turnovers in the first few minutes. High risk, no reward passing at the back and inviting city to apply pressure. So amateurish.
