Away trip to Sanfreece Hiroshima ACL R16 first leg game 7 May

According to the AFC website this game will be a 7pm local time kick off (8pm AET) on 7 May at Hiroshima Athletic Stadium.

 

Who is interested in making this trip?

 

Qantas has fares to Tokyo (Narita) around that date for under $1200 return, so then transport needed on either the Shinkansen high speed rail (takes abt 4 hours) or budget domestic flights to get to/from Hiroshima.

 

It's a wonderful city (I was there in Feb 09 after the Socceroos' WC qualifier) and a lot more relaxed than the bigger cities.

surprisingly at the moment Jetstar that flies directly into Osaka is more expensive than Qantas

don't think QF fly into Osaka - their current sale fare is arnd $1100 return into Narita - Jetstar into Osaka arnd $1200-1300 minimum last time I looked
