  1. Nice to see the forum hadn’t changed that much 😉 There’s always next time…
  2. Woeful second half. No go forward. Looked like minimal hunger. We were in trouble from the second half kick off and it was even worse when Mrcela went off. Think Simmonds was found out tonight. Hard to feel any pleasure about this season as this squad has under-delivered. And yes, Rudan needs to pull his färken head in & lose the braggadocio.
  3. That must have choked that prick Tuckerman having to write that. Arsehat hates us.
  4. They shouldn’t have been able to find their way into our past squads either 😉
  5. Sheperd probably was part of the SCG Trust mob that leaked the info re banned sokkah fans to Boozy Bec's way back in part because he was part of the AFL Liberal Mafia alongside old mate Stuart Ayres. Both of those arschlochen were keen to make sure the Manuka Midgets had as much as a positive spin about their unwanted, unneeded presence in western Sydney and what better way than to talk up the hools in red and black angle. Marron you are given the kurva, the scheisse, the weeping anal abscess far too much respect with your observation. He is the kind of self-serving fecal scum that seems to find a way to float to the top of the political/business turdshake that is the power echelons of NSW's society.
  6. Shotirio must be the most successful ex-Wanderer to have never made it overseas. And that in itself is an indictment both of what was achieved development-wise at the club since he started with us and the A-League as a whole. Surely the triumvirate of the Oligarch's son-in-law, the sportswashing Sheik & the Salami King will be tapping Pappas on the shoulder and saying 'time to go'...
  7. BTW did anyone else see the Salami King, Dear Leader Lederer patrolling the perimeter post-match on the Eastern Stadium side? Must’ve been a big win for him to crawl out of his hermetically sealed bank vault
  8. That was the best performance by a WSW team I’ve seen in person at Wanderland 2.0 since we moved back to Parra. Possibly the most complete win against the Nix since the Gombau-Wow era. if the team can repeat that standard of football in the coming weeks we might have more than a sniff of the dunny seat
  9. Putting this here because it seems the most appropriate thread. Is it just me or does anyone else think that Parramatta as a place to visit for game day has really gone to shite? Theat useless bloody tramline has ripped up and gutted Church Street, in the process killing off a few fave eating and drinking venues. The Bav is much missed, they tore down the old Royal Oak and left a gapping hole there whilst newer, uglier buildings are left untouched. Hardly see any local civic pride in being the home of the Wanderers and yeah...well...Wanderland 2.0 might be state of the art you beaut stadium design but it lacks the feel, the intimacy of the old Wanderland. Maybe I'd feel different about Parra if we were winning. However to me we've lost a lot of the old vive and physical environment of the place and got very little to be that enamoured with.
  10. Missed opportunities and some mediocre efforts from some of our players (sorry, Aquilina is not up to sniff). That Ogawa miss...FMD if that isn't like a microcosm of what it's felt like these last half dozen seasons I dunno what is. Tarnheit are nothing special but they made us look relatively blunt.
  11. Oops, forgot to say that Baccus to the Future was very solid too. Made a big difference with his effort tonight.
  12. Watching the game at home and the commentators often spoke of the need for the team to return to the grit and grind of the Popa era. Think these attributes were on show but it's very, very early days. Plus it has to be said still not very happy with USB-Man. Rodwell was definitely the star performer but hats off to Ziggy Gordon. Why one of last seasons best players couldn't get a start under Idiot Robinson shows just one reason why the clown was given the exit door.
  13. A fence post on the road between Port Augusta and Maree that has been hit repeatedly by road trains filled with drought affected cattle and driven by truckers half-asleep as they wait for the next kick from the handful of Benzedrine pills they popped back in Mount Gambier is more tactically smart than Robbo.
  14. Frankly if Socceroos don’t make it to the Desert Fraud Cup I’ll not mourn. Everything about the campaign, from how it’s been managed, style of play and the final goal of qualification is about as attractive as a pig with lipstick. Yes, it will be hard on the players and the coffers of the FA but thee is nothing about the way the game is being developed or directed at the international level that makes me think we are progressing. In fact I’d argue we’ve gone backward and are worse than at any time since at least the 1998 qualifiers.
  15. Last thing Baccus to the Future needs is a grumpy ex-golfer who will ogle the waitresses at Mr Watkins
