Too Early To Call Popa Coach Of The Year?

There has again been quite a bit of talk amongst the Foxtel commentators about how good Popa has been this year after last night's Brisbane game and much verbiage re his potential for being coach of the year. Is it too early to give him this accolade? Of course at the moment there are three clubs with coaches in higher positions on the table, but it's looking pretty good considering.... The perseverance with the likes of Dino and Bridge The squad management (as shown with the Christmas/New Year's short turnaround) Preferring Ono as our marquee instead of Ballack Shifting Polenz into right defence instead of using early WSW poster boy Tarek Elrich Reviving or continuing the careers of several HAL cast-offs (Beauchamp, Covic, D'Apuzzo, Haliti) Guiding WSW to wins against last year's champions and runners up Doing all this with bugger all prep time Hate the idea this could be putting a mocker on Popovic, but considering where Arnold, Postecoglou and Kosmina are at with their teams surely TP deserves favouritism for this nod at the end of the year...
