Post Game Report: An emphatic 4-1 win to take two wins in a row for the first time this season, Newcastle scored first through Tash Prior early on, then the Wanderers took control with first W-League goals to Bronte Trew & Ena Harada in the first half. In the second Amy Harrison scored a penalty after a close call on a Jets trip on the edge of the area, and Holly Caspers finished the job off late on.

Note 2: Danika Matos became the Wanderers highest appearance maker in the W-League, with her 84th appearance in the competition. She overtook Olivia Cooper who retired with 83, and remains just ahead of Olivia Price who made her 82nd appearance in this match.
