How do you go about watching highlights? Access to Sky is geoblocked, and few games are on BT. (And I'm poor)

If you are talking about the championship highlights I watch the Championship highlights show on the BBC iplayer every week. but you will need a geo-unblocker. I have an unblocker installed on my smart TV and what I get / see is pretty much exactly the same as in the UK. I get BBC and ITV live and also access to all of the various UK iplayers. I watched all of the world cup via the BBC and ITV.

There are a few free geo-unlockers out there and I used them for a little whilst but performance is not reliable so I now pay $4 a month subscription for a pretty good service.

This subject was being discussed on a well known British Expat forum and everyone one went through listing what they were using and what was best. A few weeks later many of them were blocked and taken down. Not always best to discuss openly which ones you are using as they are always looking at ***ing it up.

Had Setanta some years back. Bundesliga was exceptional but seemed dominated by hurling. Every time I would turn it on, I's see hurling.

It's mostly football last couple of years I've had it. Football League, League Cup, Bundesliga, Europa, Copa Libertadores, plenty of internationals. I prefer watching the Championship to Premier League anyway, much more interested in the league Wednesday are in.

i agree with IH - setanta while pricey has a lot of football that I want to see - championship, euro and wc quals + bundesliga.

also lol at zola comment - I remember saying similar after the various cup shamozzles that leeds have suffered in the last few years - rochdale, histon etc

very excited in a 'rubber necking at a car crash' sort of way to watch leeds v boro on the telly box on saturday night. will be watching through fearful hands.

the time is almost at hand wswboro! i think a defeat here may see cellino run onto the pitch and break up the post match manager's handshake to fire hockaday so should be a spectacle whatever happens.

High foot my fecking arse, perfectly good goal disallowed by this shite piece of a ref.

You always know when you go to Leeds you will get crap decisions and cheating all the way from the bastards in white.

Dirty Leeds.

Lol wswboro. Sharp pushed in back every time he gets the ball still yet to receive a free kick.

Been a decent even game and good atmosphere. Impressive to bring 1600 away fans at extortionate prices.

Boro always take good away support all over the country.

We should have had a penna I think form a push in the box also.

Dirty Leeds better than I thought they would be so far.

Not a vintage performance by any means but will take the 3 points against a pretty handy side.

Good point earned against Derby. By all accounts (Steve McClaren included) we were unlucky not to get more out of the game. Happy with the start Wednesday are having.

Amen. Sickening seeing the incessant chatter about the EPL starting.

Read about people complaining about "Eurosnobs" on this forum, but plenty of people other than following Wanderers have no clue outside of the EPL, Barcelona, Real Madrid or Juventus. Remember last year a Wanderers fan I know saying he should follow Cardiff because they are called the dragons (St George Illawarra fan). Said it was fitting he should go for a club that rebranded itself, losing all its history but still claiming it has one. Had no idea that Cardiff were the Bluebirds.

People all week at work asking if I was ready for the new season. As people have said here, it already ******* started. Although I'm preaching to the choir about how great Championship football is in this thread.

I'm gonna be technical here but Cardiff City are still called the bluebirds. We just call them the Red Dragons to piss them off, purely because Sheep Shaggers doesn't annoy them anymore. Still it shows the stupidity of people calling others Eurosnobs.

That Norwich game was ****ed by the ref in the first minute. Standard jumped-up ref allowing himself to be swayed by the (relatively quiet) home crowd and giving a red for something that even the Norwich fans are undecided on. Oh well, onwards and upwards. Who would've thought at this stage that Bournemouth AND Millwall would be on top of the league??!!

That Bluebird will be gone from their logo soon enough, just there to appease fans. Tan wants them to be called Cardiff Dragons. History is being sold just to play in the Premier League.

True, just like the badge of Hull City has been changed so that the writing has gone from it. I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of years time you see "Hull City Tigers" or "Hull Tigers" on it. I genuinely don't see how "Tigers" has any merit or benefits over "City", especially if the logo has a bloody huge tiger on it

Imagine if they started adding the nicknames all the time

Sheffield Wednesday Owls vs Millwall Lions

Manchester City Arab Billionaire vs Chelsea Russian Billionaire

So Boro v Sheff Wednesday today.

Hopefully Boro can continue their impressive form with a good win today, won't be easy though.

Great win by Wednesday. It doesn't feel right being in the Championship, winning games and being in a good position... it's too positive.

Lloydy, thought you may appreciate this quote from Hockday on the Watford game.

"I thought we came here and did a very, very good job and played some decent stuff which I'm very, very happy with."

I think he needs to start sharing whatever he is smoking with the fans. If he is happy losing 4-1, then you'll be joining Fulham and Blackpool in League 1 next season.

wednesday going really well IH! good luck to them.

not sure if that hockaday quote makes me want to laugh hysterically or punch something. cellino has called emergency meeting for today and word is that hockaday will be gone. question is what manager in their right mind would sign on with our shambles of a club with a known manager killer in charge who is very 'hands on'? will have to be a person who has a connection with the club to want to put up with that so I am thinking it will be gary mcallister.

the travelling support definitely let both hockaday and cellino know what they thought of the situation today.

I really hope we can get a couple of players in before end of the month. A good winger and a creative CM and I honestly think we could push for playoffs. Current squad I think it'll just be a safe mid table position which I'm quite happy with.

Tom Lees by all accounts has been a brilliant signing. Thanks Leeds.

I think the issue is that Cellino is the manager. He just wants a coach to run the training drills and pick the tactics.

i thought lees would do well. am happy for him. he has been one of the few likeable players over the last few horrendous years and I didn't blame him at all for wanting to leave.

'safe mid table position' seems like a lofty goal for leeds at the moment lol

much better start than last year for you guys IH.

i must admit though I am enjoying watching fulham flounder with '11M pound man' ross mccormack. hehe.
