To be more correct, they care, but they don't care enough to do more than the bare minimum.

The only time the club actually did more than the bare minimum they made the finals... then pushed away everyone involved in making that season successful because of the cost.

Not only that, I think I remembered someone said that WSW women are one of the lowest paid players in the A-League womens

We didn't even keep the players there for the full season. So managed to crash out straight away, that season was founded on stand..US and Irish imports were the difference
