MartinTyler Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Evening lads. Just thought that it's about time I start getting familiar with this thread seeing as though I'm a West Ham supporter. Great to meet you all... Good timing given that your team is going to get done-over by a Championship club in the FA Cup this weekend !!!
IronHaggis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 So who thinks their team can be a giant killer and get a good run in the cup? I wouldn't call winning at Macclesfield giant killing.
zola Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 WOLVES V GILLINGHAM 6.45 AM TOMORROW MORNING. SET YOUR ALARM LADS. YOU'RE IN FOR A TREAT.
Wanderer74 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Evening lads. Just thought that it's about time I start getting familiar with this thread seeing as though I'm a West Ham supporter. Great to meet you all... Mate you can have my seat, I have warmed it up for you. But seriously unless we can change the tide(not too worried cause we are halfway through the season), I think we will be playing off, and I don't like our form against these other six teams.
Sasman Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Lucas Neill is training with my Rovers at the moment. Absolutely filthy with that, the way he left us for West Ham was a disgrace. First time poster in here but will be around more often! Good win over Leeds to make it a double, tough tie in the Cup this week, Home to Man City!
nisman94wfc Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Judging by the weather in the South West today and over the last few days I think our players have got a better chance at swimming than playing football at Bristol City. That means we have missed two games (Yeovil game was also called off). It seems our players have got a winter break lol

I would gladly trade with you if it weren't for the fact that I've gotta go back to uni on Monday (I still need to catch up with lecture notes so that is pretty frustrating). I watch quite a few videos of Aussie youtubers and I think every single one of them has complained about the weather over the last week. 44 degrees is friggin outrageous! I'm ethnically of Sri Lankan background and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even be able to take that heat. That said it seems a damn sight better than having days where it's just pissing down relentlessly and it's so cold and windy you might as well just forget about going out.
Steve92 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Got stoke away this should be a interesting game leicester are paying $3 might be worth a punt
IronHaggis Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 WOLVES V GILLINGHAM 6.45 AM TOMORROW MORNING. SET YOUR ALARM LADS. YOU'RE IN FOR A TREAT. Was the treat watching Wolves lose? Steve92 1
MartinTyler Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Go the Gills !! They were my closest League club when I lived in Kent !!
Sasman Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Super performance by Rovers v Man City. We more then carried our weight, pushing City all game and almost poaching a winner! Bring on the replay!
lloydy136 Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 ugh been a tough week. wanderers lose, hammering by the MSM all week and now leeds lose 3 in a row including this morning to rochdale in the cup. nothing makes you more cranky i don't think than getting up at 2am to watch a garbage performance like that - will never get that sleep back!
MartinTyler Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Bit of a difference between getting pumped by Everton and losing to Rochdale !!
lloydy136 Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 it was a disgrace - even worse than the Histon loss a few years back. as I said a deeply depressing week on all fronts.
IronHaggis Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Lloydy, seeing your loss makes me feel a little better about our 1 all draw against Macclesfield, at least we have a chance of progressing still. ASlso it might mean we get a proper manager. The blunts beat Aston Villa. How fitting after Lambert's remarks about the FA Cup not being important. If Villa aren't going to try and win either of the Cups, whats the point of them being around? They'll never win the Premier League, so basically their only point of existance is not getting relegated.
DamnedUnited Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Derby got out of the top2. Finally first some quality. Us back into third, Leicester clear by 5. They look good, not jinxing it but seriously guys. At 3.10 am when The Rams have tucked to bed Chelsea at Pride Park the loss to Wigan will make sense
MadKaw Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Luckily the rest of you had a crap round too... :-)

DamnedUnited Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Fantastic effort Derby. Lost but far from beaten. Bodes well for promotion tilt
superneil Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Ian Holloway favourite to replace Steve Lomas down the den. He would be great, but chances are we end up with Dave Jones.

IronHaggis Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) What about bloody forest this morning 5-0 I watched the first half hour last night. Not much was happening and I was tired so I went to sleep. Wake up and see 5 goals, should of kept watching it. Edited January 5, 2014 by IronHaggis

Prydzopolis Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Literally, know west ham have the carling cup semi final coming up but they almost waved the white flag with all those youngsters out there... Made it worst by substituting all there youngsters off the bench too!!! Great to see the underdogs playing well, was touch and go at 1-0 with west ham having a few chances on goal but after 2-0, the floodgates opened up!
IronHaggis Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Too much talk about West Ham. They aren't a Football League club (For now). Keep on topic guys, let's make fun of the League 1 fans. superneil 1
