Team Colour & Kit Poll

+3 for black & white... we should keep the colours neutral and isn't Newcastle blue/red/white... we don't want to copy them... we need something different and green is NOT for Sydney.

Well you have 38 votes for red and black vs 8 for black and white - I think black and white is a good look as well, but voted black and red. If it ended up as B&W I wouldn't be disappointed though, but it is unlikely to happen. All the teams I grew up playing Football for in the 70's to early 80's were a B&W strip so for me it's home sweet home.

i am actually really growing on the stripes after a few examples were posted, just dont like stripes like the stripes the heart have(too skinny imo)

I voted for Horizontal. I like the vertical stripes but think there are a few A-League teams with vertical stripes already, it doesn't stop us from using it really, just would like to us to be different, stand out more.

Both Vertical and Horizontal have good support, I'd like to see the result if it was just between those two.

Another possible kit choice ... this is PSG home but you replace the dark navy blue with black and have the red as is - or you could reverse it for home or away. Just another idea.

I went with the red, white and black with the vertical up/down stripes.

In saying this, I think that the away should have horizontal stripes or a different style to the home rather than simply the inverse.

A secondary jersey wouldn't be bad either...

Not saying we should use the same kit as PSG Wilson ... it's just to be able to see something different design wise using those colours.

Would look good with black shorts (red trim) and white stockings.

missed that one, looks amazing too, i was very anti stripes before i saw some amazing jerseys with stripes, still rather the other one but that is pretty close to being as good as the other one, personally i would like to see some hybrid of the 2

Well of all places, somebody did make the point on the Melb Vic forums that the A-League needs a team with hoops ... as we already have teams with stripes and dominant red colours ... I think we should certainly go with hoops as no other team has them and possibly look to make sure that if we do have red that it is the secondary colour. Black and White hoops with some red trim could be good as an example ...

personally i rather stripes than hoops but you have a point that no other club in the League has hoops
