I'm not an Everton fan but some of the footage from yesterday brought a tear to my eye.

Reminded me of the last game we had at Ayresome. My Grandad was a man from the hard generation, fought in WWII and worked in the steel works all his life, man of few words. But walking out that ground for the last time was the only time I ever seen emotion. 
 

These Everton fans get to go back to Goodison, it will still be there. We walked out of Ayresome knowing the bulldozers were coming. Not as well know as some of the famous grounds, but was home to us and all we knew.
