It was just outside the box, but it was also a clear foul and he would have been one on one with the keeper.

If they had VAR they would have overruled the pen, given a free kick on the edge of the box, and sent the defender off for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.

Yeah quite possibly....anyway still a decent effort from the Reds with 9 Nottingham locals in the team
