Perfect ground. Fans are centimetres away from the game and the opposition are treated like ****.

But yes a new ground is coming, however there are many issues as always

Tis ok, I assure you when QPR fans go to Middlesbrough you will be made most unwelcome lol

Luongo has signed with the R's. The view amongst the fans is that this is the turning point. New coach, 10 players gone and two young talents signed. As an Australian, I am ecstatic to see Luongo play for the R's.

Reports from the Swindon fans are that Gladwin and Luongo work well together. This is why I am hoping that these two can be the steel of the team that can get us into the PL in the next three years and be strong enough to not be in a relegation battle.

Finally, the amount of jerseys sold to Aussie R's will probably triple now. Good marketing move.

That's if QPR fans can be bothered to go....they don't exactly travel in numbers !!

Despite the absolute **** efforts in away matches this season, our fans kept on selling out allocations for most matches

Thats the novelty of the EPL, I will take a punt that no more than 200 QPR fans will go to Boro, depending on the timing of the game.

Jose using Boro as it's nursery club again I see. Mind surprised Jose hasn't told Aitor to **** off considering that he played Bamford for so long with an ankle injury, don't think Jose was too happy about that.

Haven't been on here for ages.

Wednesday have just sacked Stuart Gray, whoever they employ now will really show the new owners intent. Actually hoping for Warburton, if we could get Allardyce that would be huge (I'm not just talking about Fat Sam) I mean the football will be dreadful but the results will be there.

Good to see QPR finally working smart, looks like Ferdinand and Ramsey are creating something more sustainable.

Absolutely. Now we have just signed the jet at a key time in his career. Also with us getting 20% of whatever Liverpool get from the sale of Raheem Sterling and the eventual sale of Charlie Austin, more money will be coming.

QPR will travel to Yeovil Town FC for the capital one cup.

So good to get some news to keep me going through the off season.

If one signing epitomises where QPR are heading, it is the resigning of Jamie Mackie. There is one lad who always gave 100% for the club.

I was in the UK in April/May. Due to it being a touring holiday and a honeymoon (Missus isn't a football fan) I only got to the one game and went to Bournemouth vs Wednesday. She also wasn't impressed when I mentioned that although we had seats that all the Wednesday fans would be standing.

yeah maybe haha.

hey IH - what was the thinking with sacking gray because from the outside he seemed to do a pretty good job last season.

Dispute around signings. He wanted the final say in who was being signed, the club said no. So they went their separate ways. Didn't appear to be planned as they had no one lined up and should have done it earlier if they wanted the change.

Ah first pre season game and fans and players abusing each other.

normal service resumed.

:)

Boro's first pre season game at York City has ended in disaster unfortunately.

Boro's new signing from Bolton, defender Alex Baptiste broke his leg just 10 mins in to his debut game :nono:  :nono: :nono:  :nono:

Shocking thing to happen to the lad, from what I hear there was no malice fin the tackle, just a really unfortunate occurrence. Looks like a really bad break also, could be a 9 month recovery job, will do well to be back for April 2016.

MOT... to a brawl *sigh*

I never knew LUFC fans had such a violent disposition when i started following the whites.

Leeds were a young lads dream in the early noughties, with o'leary fielding a young exciting side with so many future superstars. Didnt know about the service crew!

P.s. some brutal pictures of the austrian brawl!

Read that the bloke who decked Kirkland was over in Austria.

Leeds are well known for having a rather large hooligan (lack of a better term) support. Probably because they were a rough and successful team when hooliganism was really starting to kick off. Millwall, Birmingham and Cardiff are well known for it too.

Unfortunately Middlesbrough had one of the most 'respected (if you can term it in that manner) ' firms in the business back in the 70's and 80's. When Middlesbrough used to play away in London in the 70's and 80's fans from other London clubs that were playing away that week would go to the Middlesbrough game just to test themselves against the Boro crew. You had games like Aresenal v Middlesbrough with Millwall, West Ham and Boro fans charging at each other in the streets around the grounds.

Great news with Wednesday's first game being shown on BeIn sports. Delayed on the TV but I assume the stream will be live.

No leeds games listed for august means I can keep my bein sports money in my pocket for another month at least :)
