lloydy136 Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Steve Evans. Seriously. ****. ****. ****. Football for the past 10 years seems to be just one giant practical joke on Leeds fans. Just fold the ******* club. Cellino better have ordered extra pies for the next couple of months before he gives him the sack. Two men bought together by their love of tax evasion.... Smoggy Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) Yes this is Leeds United new manager in the sombrero !!!! Leeds United are just a farce, they really are. If I were a Leeds United fan I would be shouting for the creation of an FC United of Leeds just like the angry Man U supporters set up a few years back and have been climbing the pyramid ever since. It really would be kinder just to let Leeds United die. Edited October 19, 2015 by WSWBoro DamnedUnited and DinoPresinger 2
IronHaggis Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Wednesday said no to both Bates and Cellino at different points. Now we had some pretty poor owners in our time but very glad we didn't end up with either of them. Now we've got Chansiri and things are looking good.

StringerBellend Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Wow the guy talks about himself in the third person, what a tit “I’ll give you a team that plays with passion and plays with pride. Steve Evans doesn’t lie in bed and dream. I’m a realist. Everyone’s aware of the head coaches that have been here and left. But I have to believe in myself. How can you fear being sacked at Leeds United?†http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/20/steve-evans-leeds-united-manager-massimo-cellino
IronHaggis Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 After this mornings games Brum are 2nd, thought they would be mid table mediocrity this season. Brighton also doing well being first, thought last season may have killed that momentum they were building previously.
Smoggy Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Boro back on the winning trail after a 3 game blip. That is the problem with Boro, just when they look like breaking away at the top they have these mini blips in form that just pull them back in to the rest of the pack.
IronHaggis Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 3-0 win against Arsenal. Was trying to stay away so I could watch the game after work but everyone kept messaging me about it. Nice run we are on. Wanderer74 and Smoggy 2

Wanderer74 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Massimo Cellino: Leeds chairman agrees to sell club to fans Leeds chairman Massimo Cellino has agreed in principle to sell his share in the club to supporters' group Leeds Fans United. The Italian, who is currently appealing against a Football League ban, met with fans on Friday. He said he would sell his majority share, without making a profit. He told BBC Radio Leeds: "100% I will sell to the fans, if they want to buy it and look after the club. The fans are the only asset the club has." Leeds Fans United launched in April with the aim of buying a minority stake in the club and securing representation on the board. Analysis: Adam Pope, BBC Radio Leeds "This is coming at the same time that he is facing another ban from the Football League. "There has been a lot of pressure on him from the fans and the national media this week. I think it is the fans chanting against him at Thursday's game that has made up his mind. He sounded genuinely distraught. "There is a real malcontent around the club at the moment. He's done some good in his time there but I believe the time is right for a change. "I've spoken to Leeds Fans United and I don't know how much money there is there now but I know that there are people willing to back their initiative." They tweeted: "Leeds Fans Utd has today reached agreement in principle with Massimo Cellino to purchase a majority stake in Leeds United Football Club." Many supporters called on Cellino - who took over at Leeds since 2014 - to leave Elland Road after a 2-0 home defeat by Blackburn on Thursday left them 18th in the Championship. United would be the highest placed English club to be owned by their fans. Cellino had told The Times earlier this week that his tenure at the Yorkshire club had been "a nightmare". He added: "I'm sad and embarrassed. My dream was to do my best but I've achieved nothing and family aren't even with me. "I'm trying to protect the club but at the same time it means I have exposed myself. The result is that the fans say 'Massimo it's time to go'. "So I ask myself what am I doing here? The Football League say I'm dishonest. "It's a weird feeling. I thought I could do better but the pressure is too much." ----- So does this mean he will actually go? DamnedUnited 1
lloydy136 Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 this caused an outpouring of joy on social media this morning. Leeds Fans Utd is a real thing and has gathered a fair bit of money already after only kicking off in april this year. it sounds promising but I am not getting my hopes up too high - false dawns and leeds united have been synonymous for nearly 15 years. sadly I can't buy any shares in it because of our stupid security & investment laws. I looked into it back at the start of the year. DamnedUnited, DinoPresinger and braad 3

IronHaggis Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Without someone rich enough to invest money year on year probably won't be able to compete financially, even with Leeds excellent revenue streams. With the right fans running the club they should be able to stabilise the club and make it more attractive for potential owners and be able to choose the right person.
Wanderer74 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Hopefully fox sports can pick up the Championship for the next 3 years, imagine being able to watch 5 games at once DinoPresinger 1
IronHaggis Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Maybe the Championship will go to Vodafone, Bundesliga to Virgin and La Liga to Amaysim.

It would be awesome, and a great result. Lloydy, do you know if it has legs? Its going to need some decent financial ability to take it all on
lloydy136 Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 You know I think it does have legs. It is based on not just the average fan throwing in a few hundred bucks but a collection of about a dozen or so wealthy Leeds fans/business people providing the bulk of the capital. Cellino seems to want to sell to the fans to save face a bit. The club has very high turnover for a championship club and certainly enough to break even. Just might be crazy enough to work. Also I would rather be a fan owned club and live within our means even if it meant never making it back to the Prem. At least it will be our club again instead of the basket case it has been for the past decade run by ****wits for their own ends. Smoggy and DinoPresinger 2
eggs Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I've never noticed there was a championship thread until today!
