The second half stoppage time was weird. 9 minutes in 45 means that there was no play for 1 in every 5 minutes during the half.

There were, I think, 3 longish injury stoppages, drinks break, several substitutions and VAR for the disallowed goal.

3pm is bad for fans - just an awful time of the day in summer.  It is hot for us, even in the shade, so can't imagine what it is like standing on the field, let alone running for 90 minutes.  Even Borello looked absolutely done - an extra 9 minutes was excruciating (not sure where the extra 15 minutes in the 2 halves actually came from?).

Enough of 3pm!!

Thankfully, that was the last of the 3pms at home for this year (just an away one to Adelaide I think). Next couple at 7 45, then 5pm in March, when hopefully the weather cools a bit.

They've been more literal with stoppage time this season. Especially since the WC. I like it. More football, harder to time waste.

Before the board went up I predicted 8mins.

Love borello work rate and determination.

Wish he'd release the ball a little sooner though.

I think it is a lack of vision and just needs to be told to pass earlier.  No use trying to beat a player when the simple move might be a wall pass and then back to him in an opening.  I sometimes get frustrated and then he scores a good goal.

Agree on his work rate ... he never stops trying ...especially on those hot 3pm games.
