Reality is, A League clubs are going to have to start bringing successful NPL and NPL2 managers into the fold if we ever want to improve local managerial stocks. Otherwise, what's the pathway for greater experience for young up and coming managers? Second tier Asian comps? If they can't make a full-time living managing, we'll end up losing their talents completely.

An NPL manager has no divine right to taking up a A-League mangers post. They should expect to be up against managers from all over the planet, many of which have been involved in far better football programs over in Europe/Asia as youth managers or reserve team managers, coaches or assistant managers, and that just being an NPL manager doesn't give them an advantage, and they should consider going over to be a coach in Europe at a lower league club and earning higher positions,

Of course they don't have a divine right, but why shouldn't we work to help up skill our own? I'm not talking about walking in to the top job. Perhaps once the academies are up and running

Oh so true. I don't FB at all for this reason. There is only a handful of people I went to school with back in the 80's and 90's which I choose to associate with. The rest I don't talk to at all. There's a reason for that and I don't need some pretend friend Social Medium to tell me otherwise. I have grown up and moved on with new friends I actually associate and spend time with with in my current life.

I don't care for your salted caramel and pecan pie your about to eat at Manipascu airport whilst your on your way to the orphanage where you volunteer with the pygmies. **** off and leave me alone so I can enjoy life with real people, I choose to want to have in my life, not pretend people...

Yeah there was a Leopold Method article to that effect - but yeah, I agree on something like that, there needs to be clear pathways

A-League shouldn't just be about developing Australian players, but also Australian coaches
