Going with Masterfoods I'm thinking Woy Woy Soy Sauce.

>Dynamo Woy Woy

g>LOL!

According to the aboriginal language when a word is repeated like that it means its where the spirit lives. Eg The spirit of Woy.

True story.

Well I prefer what Spike Milligan said about Woy Woy..."It's the largest above ground cemetery in the world"

Haha classic!

People are talking about catching up at The Settler Tavern (Gosford) before the big match... But I can't see it mentioned on the forums?

Is this true? And if so, what time are people heading down for pre-drinks and the march?  :smurfnono:

I think this is being worked out by Benched so keep an  eye on when he posts the details.

As per usual someone always throws a spanner in the works for him just to make his life more difficult.

Bloody Publicans.

Jeez Arnie knows how to spin BS...

http://www.smh.com.au/sport/a-league/pressure-on-wanderers-says-arnold-20130228-2f913.html

"I think for Saturday's game this has been a great distraction for us. All the media are talking about Western Sydney, and a lot have been talking about them being favourites and what a great experience it is going to be on Saturday night for them. We haven't even thought about it until probably today [Thursday]. So they've had six days to maybe build up the pressure and we've got one."

Who is he kidding...ever since the 6-2 win over the hapless Melbourne Defeat there has been endless yammering about what he's said about the ACL game, how the Marinaters have been hard done by having to play Wanderers on Saturday, how good they were against the hopeless Melbournians, the poor crowds at Bluetongue for not just the ACL game but regular games as well, and of course Arnie's throw-away lines at the post 6-2 win media conference. If anyone has been fixated on us and our performances etc it hasn't been Popa and the guys...it's been Arnold and his 'poor poor pitiful me' routine.

I guess I can rate the talent of the team he has and the way he structures their performance...but as a man and an overall rep for being straight up and not a self-indulgent drudge who has had some long and serious failings as a coach (remember the 2007 Asian Cup campaign), he need to learn how to STFU

He's talking about us being under more pressure than them? They're the reigning Premiers who are undefeated at home and we're in our first ever season and already waaaaaaay ahead of where everyone expected us to be. They have heaps more to lose.

The one on one interview conducted by sbs on the day was so much better. It focus on the game just played, and at the end, a few simple question about thoughts on opposition.

That press conference to me, its was poor questioning from journalist and poor responsive from Arnold himself.

He is just playing mind games and trying to protect his players like any good manager will do. Agreed with thoughts above don't like the man respect what he has been able to do with mariners.

He knows deep down the pressure is on... His team have flown the flag 3 years and with the meow being **** this year it's all on him to deliver the gf win. A loss at home this weeekend will destroy the confidence of the team and the chokers tag will come up again.

+1

Indications that he IS effected by the wanderers is evident through his reactions in press conferences, and media statements. Can't help but laugh.

Do we have a pub roll call yet, so newbies like myself can be introduced to the others?

I'm not sure... Would be good though, as I don't really know many either.

I think it's more a sign of pressure.

He's feeling the heat and this is how he reacts. He's probably a large part of the reason why the mariners often choke at the business end of the season. Teams tend to reflect their manager

Have you seen this one from today? Everyday since Wednesday he has slagged us off. We are winning this game and he knows it.

Back in October, Arnold was taken aback by the decision - well before anyone could have imagined the Wanderers would be pushing the Mariners all the way in the title race.

"I feel probably like all the other clubs - pretty hard done by," Arnold said at the time.

"If you look at Melbourne Heart, when they came into the league they didn't get any help, they only had five visa spots and all the other clubs have only got five.

"You'd like it to be a fair playing field but it's not right now. I understand the reason is because they are a late inclusion and they only had 186 days or so to prepare, but I was a bit surprised when I heard about it."

Another reason to stick it right up the clacker of Arnie tomorrow:

So let's get this right...he feels hard done by because the FFA had to find a way to help kick-start a new team in the most important part of Australia football-wise in the wake of the Gold Coast fiasco, the problems facing the withdrawal then return of Tinkler's Jets and the need to get a far better deal for the game TV-rights wise.

I wonder if anyone would miss the Marinators as much as we missed having a team like the Wanderers in today's HAL? With a choking record only bettered by the Boston Strangler and Greg Norman he needs to again have a skull at the schooner glass of STFU.

I guess it's the football equivalent of bigger-dick envy...hardly anyone wants to actually sign up at Dynamo Woy Woy, and even with our extra O/S players like Dino and La Rocca hardly setting the world on fire we have accomplished more to make this sport of ours a far more impressive presence in Australia than it has been probably since 2005/6 than the Sauce Bottlers have ever done.

its a lot of bleating from someone who says that he isnt concerned, his actions prove otherwise.

Once his contacts in the youth squad dry up he'll have nothing.

Perhaps he would like to have crowd figures at Sauce Park like they have had for the past few weeks if we were not in the comp.  Good luck with that.

So he want's everything to be fair but his idea of fair would be if we had no extra visa players and considerably less time than Heart to get established.

Logic brought to you by Graham Arnold...
