Panfers fan here! Went to their grand final triumph in 2003. Still waiting for their next golden season. Doesn't look good unless Gus Gould farks off.

As for expansion, I say bring another Penriff team team in. This city is crying out for a 2nd Penrith team. The Penriff Derby would surely capture the imagination of this great city.

We also need to build an 80,000 seater stadium on the north side of Penriff station so as to accomodate the derby game :)

**** boganball, winter is for playing real football and drinking.

This.

Football is when you play a game that involves using your feet to manipulate a ball. All else is handegg.

lol, I used to like NRL, but now i hate it with a passion. I cant stand people calling NRL football,  they rarely use there feet, so how can it be called football?

bulldogssss, been wearing that jersey since i was in diapers, cheers dad. haha

but im not a hardcore supporter, i normally go to the rabbitos v bulldogs game around easter, the crowd is just not near the same as a wanderers game.

its just something to do in the off season for real football i guess?

I've been in the Dogs Army for years, I'll admit we have nothing on the Wanderers as far as chanting goes BUT the passion is just as deep

Seeing as this topic has become hot again. I am a Raiders supporter and have been supporting them the year they lost the Grand Final to Manly in 1987. Wouldn't say I am a big NRL fan, but I do follow it. I prefer football to NRL anyday of the week, especially this year. Its been a brilliant season for more reasons that one. Lots of things I hate about the NRL as well. I hate the fact that they have been hijacking our game for as long as I can remember and stealing our thunder whenever they get the chance. Example remember when Footy Show went to the World Cup in Germany. **** me how can they televise the footy show at the World F*cking cup. F*ck em. I hate the fact that everytime I say I support the football and they go yeah I support the eels, dragons whoever, and I have to correct them and say you know FOOTBALL, "OHHHHHH YOU MEAN SOCCER". Holy Sh*t its been called football for over 125 years or so. You hardly play NRL with your feet. I hate the fact that when we started the Wanderers and came out with the Jersey all the old North Sydney supporters were saying our Jersey looks like the Bears Jersey. Get the f*ck out, the only similarity is that they are both red and black.I hate the fact that they actually think the NRL is a better game and that the billions of people who follow football around the world are the ones who have somehow got it wrong. I hate the fact they even think they have a World Cup. I hate the fact that they have to justify their sport at the expense of football. Ever heard when they say "The NRL is a mans game etc etc, blah blah blah" and in the statement they will mention football at some point.

I love the fact that they have a new administration that seems clueless without David Gallop. I love the fact that they have banned the shoulder charge because lets face it, almost every tackle thats being made in the NRL there is always going to be some contact with the shoulder. Watch how impossible it will be to police this sh*t.

I have nothing against the NRL or the people who follow it, but I hate this higher than mighty attitude like they are the only sport to exist in this country. That if you follow football as your first passion, something is wrong with you. I can guarantee at some point everyone on this forum has experienced some sh*t like that. Just like Johnny Warren said "Wogs, Poofters, Sheilas".

Dont worry I am not bitter, I am just happy that football has finally turned the corner in this country. This is only going to get bigger and better. Cant wait until we hijack the State of Origin with the A-league all stars game. That will show ya.

And Lastly - sorry for the rant

Parramatta Eels die hard here.
Don't cry for our season, its already dead..

Knights fan in the house. Although the NRL media has generally been **** to us footy fans, a lot of the people I know follow both codes and I see no reason why both can't exist in harmony. After all football is the beautiful game, NRL appeals to the rough nut in all of us, its the most brutal sport around. AFL is the real enemy, those ****ers would be happy to kill off both the Football and NRL, not that they have a chance. Their constant attacks on both sports, be it in the media, by its fans or in the sucking on the Governments tit, **** me up the wall.

Red V until I die. Here's to hoping Bellamy gets on bored fellas :P

I'm with you mate, but not getting my hopes up about Bellamy though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's just shopping himself around to help secure a bigger storm deal

Yeah, I have to agree. Bellamy is just milking out a bigger deal.

It's gonna be a relatively bad season for us this year, 2013 we're rebuilding.
