Sydney United, Blacktown CIty and APIA Leichhardt advance to the seventh round.

Sydney United vs Sydney Olympic sounded like it was a sensational match. Carlos de Olivera and Patrick Antelmi scored two quick consecutive goals for Sydney United around the 20th minute. Adam Parkhouse scored for Sydney Olympic in the 36th minute. Seth Clark scored the equaliser for Sydney Olympic for the 72nd minute so they would end up 2-2 at the end of full-time. Cyrus Dehmie scored for Olympic in the 112th minute. Just when Olympic thought they sealed the game, Leroy Jennings scored a header in 121st minute making it go to a penalty shootout. Sydney United would win 10-9 in the penalty shootout.

Two other games played last night which were Wollongong Olympic vs Blacktown City at Sir Ian McLennan Oval and NWS Spirit vs APIA Leichhardt at Christie Park.

Blacktown City defeated Wollongong Olympic 3-1. Wollongong Olympic did have the lead after Japanese wing back Shoji Mori scored. Blacktown City would get an equaliser from Jak O'Brien in the 64th minute. Travis Major would score in the 87th and Keanu Moore would seal the win after he scored in the 89th.

APIA Leichhardt would win 4-1. APIA's Seiya Kambayashi scored first in the 23rd minute. APIA would extend the lead with Joel Bertolisso 47th minute. Spirit's Yu Okubo would score in the 54th minute. But APIA would score two more around the 70th minute. Goals coming from Franco Farinella and Jordan Segreto.

SD Raiders vs Rockdale Illinden and Shellharbour FC vs Hills United will take place next Tuesday 13th May.

It would be really nice if we could start taking this comp seriously and have all or most of our squad signed in time so thatwe can have a proper go at winning it. It's an embarrassment that a club like Macarthur have already won it twice before us.

Perth vs Mariners in the Cup qualifier, Perth were on top for 40 minutes then copped an hilarious own goal and a long shot to go in 2-0 down at half-time. :woah:

Nothing says the Magic of the Cup, like an own goal like that!

Mariners gone :xnod:

If you wanted to look at a club that's had a failed season, it's them.

- Champions last year. 10th this year
- Only got 1 point in the ACL Champions League Elite.
- Out immediately in the Australia Cup
- To add more damage, their NPL squad is currently on a  5 (or 6) losing streak and could looking at relegation into League One (still 15 rounds to go though)

Only good thing going for them is the Women's team which are in the finals.
