Todays game and the other one is crucial to the make up of the lower end of the top 6.

Nothing but a win is what WSW need and also same result in other Welly game.

The slim prospects of WSW(most importantly) and Smurffs,Newcastle MacBullshirters all rely on 6 points being taken by WSW from the NIX.

Who said the end of the season isnt interesting.

IF, nix take a point or 3,then its likely WSW/Jets/Smurffs are finished for the season.

    Looks right to me!

Now we need 90 full minutes like the first half against Newcastle.

Play like that and we can beat every team in the league. But my assumption is here that again we will have left our arses in neutral.

Does Rudan hate Mejias or something

If you already know you're getting rid of him and the only decision in regards to keeping is if you're going to keep Margush, then you don't play Mejias. There's potential risks involving injuries for him (I assume he's getting paid a lot more) causing long payouts.

Can we get the Warshawsky guy to play instead then

Embarrassing that such a **** goalkeeper gets picked week after week - where's Josep Gombau, has he talked to Margush's dad recently?

That makes sense. Unless the fella you are playing is costing you points and making mistakes. .

Warshawsky is committed to the NPL Wanderers squad for now. They currently sit in 5th and they want the squad this year to be promoted into the NSW National Premier League division. Warshawsky has been superb again this season so I think it's best to have him play in that squad for the remainder of the season and get them promoted.

Next season, he should definitely be the 2nd choice goalkeeper.

HAHA, a foul throw in from Sotirio. Oh boy, he's never changed and still s*it.

I wonder if Inner West Hawks want to sign him next season...

Didn't realise Stanmore Hawks changed their name to Inner West Hawks. What a terrible name!

Is baccus trying to get sent off? That head clash could easily have been a second yellow for being a very late attempt at the header.

    • Do you know for sure that Hendrix and Marcelo are gone?
    • On to more positive issues - this is a short wish list based on Aussie's with expired/expiring contracts Brad Smith - LB - We need a LB. Clisby aint it. Smith and Mila would be a great pairing down the left Jake Brimmer - CAM - He's looked pretty darn good despite a horrific knee injury. Absolutely wasted under Popa Harrison Delbridge - CB - Decent results in K1. Needs to be next to a Marcelo or similar player. Best aussie CB on the free agency market right now Reno Piscopo - LM/LW/CAM - Looks dangerous on the ball at all times. Similar to Brimmer he's had a shocker knee injury but lifted Jets attack whenever he's on the pitch Curtis Good - CB - He's likely off to India, but you wouldn't say no. Only issue is his injury record sucks Tyrese Francois - CM - His ceiling looked to be very high 4 years ago. He's played just 22 professional games at 23. A-League might be his level, and he'd be awesome behind the likes of Brimmer Ajdin Hrustic - CAM - Easy choice if our staff think they can keep him fit Jason Geria - RB/CB/LB - Can play across the back line. You'd grab him if we cant find another CB, but probably no better or worse the Cleur Jason Davidson - LB/CB - Played 15 games or so at CB in Belgium plus another 10 at LB/LM. Massive step up on Clisby or a mainstay CB next to Marcelo or similar Nectar Triantis - CB - He's still contracted to Sunderland but if we end up with Monte we could definitely get him on a season loan from Sunderland. A small fee  We still have 4 foreign spots with Hendrix, Marcelo and Kittel gone.  Lots of decent Aussie options on the list above plus a few more I couldnt be f-ed to look at because scotch...
    • Eh, im a little sad about this one. I know most on this forum wanted him gone, but his first 8 or so games for us were bloody brilliant. He's never been great defensively but he was dynamic in attack. I recall he got benched to give Tommy Aquilina some time, and after that he never really looked the same. His performances have taken a huge dive off a cliff since his ACL injury. In my head he's still 19, completely whiffed on the fact he's 24. He should be showing much more at that age. We have zero need for Tate with Simmo and Cleur in the picture. Wish him all the best
